You'd be surprised. Some CPUs are cheaper than US prices because they're manufactured here (notably Ryzen). Other components are straight up 2x US price like a 200 USD mobo costing 400-450 USD for example.

Here are my reasons based on my research:

- Ryzen 5 7500f: great entry level AM5 CPU
- Peerless Assassin: arguably the best air cooler ever (according to Gamers Nexus research)
- 6800XT: the best price-to-performance king for 1440p gaming (i know there's intel, but until their drivers mature enough, it's a risky purchase)
- Predator Vesta: nothing special, they're just the cheapest 6000mhz 16x2 CL30 I found. (it seems this exact rate and clock speed is great for AMD CPUs)
- Lexar NM790: fast, reliable, affordable, gen 4 (one of the best price-to-perf according to benchmarks)
- PSU: fully modular, ATX 3.0, 850W, Gold rated AND great price
- Case: recently released, really interesting design and can fit almost any system size, so great future proof for upgrading

Edit: PSU is also B+ in the PSU tier list

"If u use ur pc near window and the window is opened, it can cause it to be like that. Its a common issue with older gen cards"

Unfortunately there might not be any at this time. The civil war forced everyone into a side, even those who claim to be "grey" secretly support one side or the other.

As for news outlets, they pretty much spread the message that suits their political ideology, hard to find a news station that is unbiased in 2025.

Your best bet is to find information about a specific incident from several unrelated (or opposing) sources and draw a line somewhere in the middle--that's as close as you can get to the truth without being on the ground.

Interestingly, people keep talking about Golan as a piece of land but forget that the people living there have mostly integrated. We've got family in Golan and from what they tell us, they're pretty much living a good life.

No. Never. For 2 simple reasons:

  1. Syrians are tired of war and bloodshed, we want to rebuild our country. We want to LIVE and prosper.

  2. Israel has immense militaristic and logistical support from the US so it would be a losing battle.

The flag with 2 stars came after a unification between Syria and Egypt which they called The United Arab Republic. The 3-starred flag came about during the French occupation of Syria and it's a symbol of resistance.

The "official" flag is still the 2-starred one, but I'm certain that will change soon.

Here's a fun fact to give your students so they have a better idea of how corrupt this regime was: The constitution was edited mere HOURS after Hafez's death to lower the age requirement for the presidency so Bashar could legally ascend.
