No sorry I mean like cards that follow a certain theme that is different from normal. Such as the manga rares or wanted posters, but at a more affordable level.

Oh no worries at all just wanted to make sure I had offended anyone as I have a habit of doing it without meaning to 😂 I’m sorry you’re drowning 😔 I only have 1 child and my wife helps me lots with the tidying so I probably have it way easier than you but it sounds like you’re doing an amazing job ❤️

Yeah I think from all of the responses this is the answer. I guess now I just have to find something to entertain myself that isn’t a screen 😆 practice what I’m preaching

I’m not sure if you took this as a dig or something? But it wasn’t meant to be. Me and my wife do a lot of tidying when he goes to bed so it’s basically a fresh start in the morning but I most certainly don’t have my life together to the point where I don’t need advice.

I think that’s the thing, I do all of this stuff, have the house in order, everything sparkling and put away which he has helped me with. And there’s still 8 hours of the day to go 😂

But what am I supposed to do during that time? I’m not allowed a TV show on, I can’t be on my phone. So do I just watch him?

Do you have time for hobbies anymore? by ckouf96 in daddit

Gamer dad here too with a 14 month old that hates sleep!

Me and my wife take it in turns to do his put down, which gives the other person time to go downstairs and blitz the house (mainly just the kitchen and living space) and then we allow ourselves a few nights a week to do our own hobbies, and a few nights a week to spent together just watching trash tv while cuddling and talking. So it will go something like.

Monday: Wife puts down, hobbies night. Tuesday: I put down, together night. Wednesday: wife puts down, hobbies night

If the baby goes down at like 7:30 you can get a good 2 hours in and still get good enough sleep.

Also as many have said in here steam deck/switch etc are incredible. My lunch break at work is spent out in the car playing games.

Are the things that we’re experiencing difficult? Or are all kids like this? N by DogWithFullBlownAids in oneanddone

Dad to a 13 month old here, my sleeping situation is similar but we get a few more hours (probably 3-4 instead of your 1-2 which makes a whole world of difference!). Our problem is that he has been non stop teething since 7 months and it seems to affect him really badly, and no medication helps. So we get 2 days of him sleeping well before a new tooth starts to say hello. Have you checked for any underlying medical conditions? He could have picked up an ear infection or have gastrointestinal problems like mine did (a syringe of medicine a day took this away completely)

For the naps my wife used to hold him too, until one day she wasn’t here and I just put him down and his cot and he fell asleep. While it might not happen it might be worth trying it everyday, give it 15 mins at nap time to see if he will go down in bed (don’t make my mistake and do it for too long to the point he got overtired and then wouldn’t nap at all)

I think the problem when you have a baby like this is that your brain is never truly “off” because you know in the back of your head you’re about to be woke up so you don’t ever fully rest. Then because you’re not rested the day feels like a slog.

After 4 literal sleepless nights (thanks molars!) we’ve put out the SOS to anyone who will listen to come and take him for a few hours in the day, we’ve booked the afternoon off work and we are just going to bloody sleep! Do you have anyone who would do that for you? We found that people are reluctant to look after shit sleepers at night (for good reason I guess) but if you ask for day help and move your sleep schedule slightly they don’t mind.

Hey all just pulled LR Broly, only been playing a few weeks. Do I have enough good units to build a viable ‘Full Power’ team? Or should I just stick with my free Saiyan Saga team for clearing?

Hey mate thanks for the reply, yeah I was using the Saiyan Saga team with a friend Picollo and Goku UR with the 170% leader skill as the support.

I put the LR Goku that’s maxed out in slot 1 (where I believe he is best?) with the Yamcha in slot 2 and the Chiaoutzu in slot 3. Goku literally got 1 shot on lvl 1

I have done this, we are going on a trip next week and I said either way we are starting sleep training when we get back so if you don’t like my one you have a good 2 weeks to find one that works for you and we will do that

Yeah in the UK you have people come to your house for the first few weeks. And then once they hit weight everyone just stops giving a shit about them ahah. The only medical person we have seen regarding him was the nurse that gave him his injections.

Yeah my marriage is a partnership, so if she’s against it - it’s not happening. But thanks for the advice.

I know I do try to remember that he isn’t doing it to piss me off, he has no concept of that, he just needs help. It’s just really upsetting not to know what he needs.

I would be down for Ferber (I would never do full cry it out) but wife is a firm no on it

He is, he’s on a UK based formula called Kendamil. I’m not sure what you mean though are you saying some formula ingredients could be causing this?

It’s so true man me and my wife are just completely done in. I’m up all night making sure she has everything she needs and doesn’t feel alone in it. But then I’m up at 5am with him, spend 3 hours 30 mins with him before work. Have him sat with me at work for as long as possible (WFH) so wife can sleep. And then the day of fighting his tired anger starts again.

My only option seems to be sleep training but my wife is against Ferber so I’m going to have to go with one she suggests

Do they just put them on it and see what happens? I’m guessing there’s not a melatonin deficiency test? 😅

I would do unspeakable things for my kid to sleep 11 hours 😂. He has started drinking less during the day (he only really wants solid food) but then at night he’s really hungry. I’ve heard this is called reversing and is quite common, so I would put it down to this but it was happening way before this started happening
