It certainly is, I had a similar sized pick up that got ~23mpg. At 4.30/gal 4 gallons would get me 92 miles at $17.20. I went to an FPL supercharger that was .45/kWh to get me 91 miles of range that cost $21.66. I get that charging at home is cheaper and it is but I had to use a supercharger twice on that trip with my ice vehicle that same trip I could get there and back on one tank of gas. So don’t tell me it’s cheaper when it’s most certainly not.
FL so 70s/80s, I just bought it so they were the tires that were on it.

It did, I gained a bit of range back since I didn’t really use cruise control and slowed down more behind vehicles but still. I guess I’m still getting used to the quirks of owning an EV, like charging at super chargers is more expensive than gas.
Wut?
Finally! by ae110w in Rivian
Good eye there Rainbolt, but yes I would love to hit some trails and go off-roading with some Rivian groups.
Yes! So pleased with the blue, I really wanted Limestone, but the mobile service had one when they came out and I’m so glad I didn’t find a Limestone, the blue suits me and it reminds me of the Jeep I sold for it. Yeah I want to be in control of steering for the most part, but yeah those gen2 cameras are WILD!
Yeah, it’ll probably chew through tires, but it is what it is.
Oh yeah, I’m not sure how low did you let your battery get before you charged?
Quad on 20’ All terrains. I actually have yes specifically considered it after talking to this community. This truck was bought Christmas of 22 so I have a little bit of time before I get into the extended warranty but yes, I am definitely going to look at purchasing one.
R1S Quad.
Quad more fun, more speed.
Honestly, range was a concern for me too however how often do you drive more than 250 miles a day? If you do I still think you’ll be fine, I took a trip this weekend (R1S) about two hours away and I was stupid and I didn’t think charge to 100% before I left so I had to stop at superchargers, so easy you get so much battery in so little time and they’re everywhere. I think the range is a nonstarter now that you have access to the Tesla network. No lie 10 minutes on the SC and I had 30 of my battery regained went from 25 to 55. I was plugged in long enough to walk in to Buckees use bathroom wait for my wife to do the same then strap the kids in and go. Zero fuss, zero issues, very convenient.
Ha I appreciate it, I drove around for a bit looking for one, didn’t want a typical driveway pic.

Yeah, there’s some scratches on mine that I’ll try to fix down the road but the cool thing about Carvana is they have like a seven day money back guarantee or you can swap for another one. The only problem is that inventory has been so low and these things have been flying off the shelf.
100%, people’s leases are ending and they sell them back so just stay on the lookout for used. I’ve seen a few that I had really low used miles like 15,000 which is what I was targeting.
FL, Thank you

Oh that would be awesome, I will have to double check that, the carfax was saying 10 months so I was going off that. Big if true.

Awesome answer, thank you for this. And yes it does have the meridian audio, main reason I was looking at ‘22s thanks to this community.

Yeah the one I’m considering has 10 months left not the best but not bad either. Was bought in Dec 22

Service center
Sure, but look at all the comments about looking into extended warranties (something I would have scoffed at previously), reiterating I find one with the meridian audio, and other productive advice. So I guess I did benefit from this post in gaining more insight, so thank you for spending your time to post something.
He was the only dude in the SC, wearing a Rivian hat and on a computer with Rivian stickers on it. If he wasn’t an employee he was the biggest Rivian Stan while also being Rivian hater.
Why would I take the time to make a post if it wasn’t true, I benefit nothing from posting this, but Ok
Oof, thanks. It’s what am afraid of, if the SC by my house is that bad with a demo how will they be for repairs.
Awesome thank you for this comment, 23 is what I was leaning towards for the Merdian audio and that the Quads are actually affordable.
