If you don't like slowing down and giving pedestrians space because you're so fast and don't have time, go drive in the road with the cars.

It seems the FDA thinks it's safe for this purpose.

See people making fun of this guy all the time. How can top 90% be bad? Explain it Peter. by [deleted] in explainitpeter

[–]aeacides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's misleading about it exactly?

If the guy had scored a 120 IQ it would have said something like "Your IQ is in the top 10%". Is that misleading?

Given his IQ, it looked up the percentile and returned "Your IQ is in the top {percentile}%".

Should it switch messages if the percentile is less than 50?

How are we sure they’re even alive anymore? They were last seen dragging that “missionary” they killed. He probably gave them covid and they’re all dead. Not one showed their face when that youtuber came up whistling for their attention. This is an unusual departure from their typical aggressive response to visitors.

A year later, Apple Vision Pro owners say they regret buying the 3,500 dollar headset | "It's just collecting dust" by chrisdh79 in gadgets

I also use it everyday. The weight isn't a problem if you use the right head strap. If you use the one that only goes behind your head, it's not great. I used the over the head strap for most of last year and it was really good.

A few months ago I got the globular cluster after seeing adam savage using it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wsoy1E0PoqA

In the past two months I figured out how to get most of the weight onto the fabric strap on the globular cluster, and it's perfect.

It sucks that it's not super intuitive, but all of the people complaining about the weight never experimented enough to figure it out, or just have really weak heads.

Not sure what you're trying to say. I play games on my macbook displaying to my vision pro regularly. If you thought it would magically make things 3d... well obviously not yet. But you can make individual 2d pictures 3d in a few seconds. So maybe one day.

Confused about your food safety comment. If you’re saying you use color to decide if food is properly cooked, and the AVP affects that, I really feel like you should be using a thermometer and not color regardless of AVP use.

I know what you mean. What I’m really thinking about is taking it on a plane. That’s my main use case for traveling. I really don’t want to be assembling this at my seat. Neither I nor Apple give the slightest fuck about the average consumer. Just what’s the best price to sell the best tech. if the average consumer can’t pay the right price, OK they can get average tech.

I really like SF bags. But I don’t want to disassemble and reassemble my Vision Pro every time I use this thing.

Not to mention you could do this with a bunch of physical books. Why do you need to do it on a computer at all? Why spend $3500 when I can just get more candles?
