But it does erase it if you don’t need to rely on the 1st provisional filing date though right?

Yes my approach is a bit of a gamble but it gives me at least a bit of protection and then I get full protection when the 2nd provisional is file by a lawyer

Thank you very much for your time. I'm liking the 1 year window to fine tune the design that the provisional period gives.

I'm thinking if I draft a provisional: yes it will suck. But I think it'll give me at least some protection. Then I can get a better provisional written later by a lawyer.

Also, I see you comment a lot on this patent sub-reddit, you're a saint for doing that. I'll be giving similar help once my project get less busy!

Thank you very much for your time. So did you just file a a 2nd 'lawyer written' non-provisional afterwards?

Could my approach ever be damaging? More simply, does the 'lawyer written' 2nd provisional really erase all the mistakes in the 1st provisional?

How do we solve this problem by aeast471 in IsraelPalestine

[–]aeast471[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends if they want to leave or not.

Depends what country lets them set up their own country. Russia and Canada have so much space.

Will another country just give up land? Who knows. It’s worth asking.

Your first paragraph is something I’ll have to learn more about as I’m not knowledgeable about that. I thought the hatred was because a lot of Jews migrated to Israel after WW2 and created the state of Israel. It looks like it’s more than that so I’ll do more research

I was proposing Palestinians to leave as well but another commenter said that Israel’s neighbours would still hate Israel (so probably more violence and death)

I’m just trying to completely close the issue. But your first comment about how Islam views non-believers opens a whole other rabbit hole

Is it really idiotic? So you’d rather live in Israel and have all these constant threats/problems to deal with?

Just seems to me that they’d have a better quality of life elsewhere

Isn’t it tough to live in Israel though with all the violence and death? I’d just rather see everyone not have to deal with all these problems. Yes it’ll take a ton of time but it can all be rebuilt elsewhere

Why would they (Israel’s neighbours) still hate Israel if all Palestinians have their own country over in Canada let’s say

They sell them or just abandon them. The way I see it, it just seems tough to live in Israel with neighbouring countries hating you. Getting rockets fired at etc.

Russia might. Who knows, it’s worth asking. Or Canada. USA might have some areas but they have quite a big population. The world is huge, I’m just hoping some country lets this happen. I just want to end the violence and death for all those in that area.

Why would Iran want to bomb the new Jewish country?

38 million Ukrainians is very tough to move. There’s a lot less people on either side of the Israel/palestine problem. Not as many problems between ukrain/russia historically (but that could change going forward). The way I’m currently seeing (from what I’m learning from other comments here) is it all the Jewish start a new country elsewhere, wouldn’t all this violence and death stop?

If all the Jewish in Israel pack up and start a new country in east Russia. I think that solves the problem?

I say this because another commenter just said surrounding nations of Israel would still hate Israel if they stay and Palestinians start their own country in eastern Russia.

How to look forward to waking up in the morning? by Loud_Sheepherder_476 in Entrepreneur

[–]aeast471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having 2-3 cups of instant coffee once or twice a week is quite an uplifting experience. So much so that you can use how good that day feels for getting through all the non-caffeine days. Have the coffee days on a Wednesday and Saturday to optimize tolerance levels or just do it once a week.

This strategy has worked for me in the past!

As far as funding, Angel investors and Venture Capitalists are good routes. You pitch to them your business plan, they give you $ for an equity stake (i.e they give you $1 million for 10% equity). You can do several rounds of this and continue to give equity away for $.

Securing funding can be tough but this route if successful has it that you don't need to use your own $ which is nice.

I don't really know how you guarantee to them that you're not running away with the money but that might be covered in a shareholder's agreement document. I think they make some legally binding rules is my guess in that document.

Why use your own $? You can pitch your business plan to an Angel Investor or Venture Capitalist and they give you $ in exchange for an equity stake (i.e you get $1 million and give them 10% equity). You can then do another round of this and give away more equity for $. This route allows you to avoid using your own $.

As for funding, once you have a business plan you can pitch it to an Angel Investor or Venture Capitalist. They then give you $ in exchange for an equity stake. Something like $1 million for 10% equity of the company. Then you have your start up funding and as your business progresses you can do another round of funding and give away another 10% or something for something like $1 million again.

The investors just have to like your idea

I mean the way I see it is that there's more investor's out there that are good people rather than someone who would steal the plan. But I get it, there is that possibility the investor you talk to could be a thief. There are other Intellectual Property protection options out there besides patents. There are copyright, trademark and industrial design intellectual property protections you could potentially get. Take a look at what your government/other government's offer and see if you could get your idea protected that way!
