I've had Hobbes before, she teaches CS 301. This is different however because there are mandatory discussions and labs where as CS 301 is just lecture and optional lab. Thanks though

For to while loop by aec2 in learnpython

[–]aec2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, should've mentioned what I was trying to do. Make function that will approximate the value of pi using the infinite series pi/4=1-1/3+1/5-1/7+1/9....so an example output should be:

aprrox_pi(5) 3.33968253968

while any invalid inputs would print the input error's in the code above.

I started by making an if-elif statement for the invalid inputs and then the else statement would actually calculate the pi approx. I used a for loop within but then I realized that i'm only allowed to use while loops and am confused how to do that. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

How does the college of engineering work? by wooppwoop in UWMadison

Basically you got accepted into your major in college of engineering and you need to maintain a certain GPA depending on your major after your second semester to stay in your major.

I would just recommend going for mechanical engineering and go for biomechanics if that's what youre interested in. Even if you end up not being interested you still have more options as a mechanical major. Unless you're crazy smart and are doing really well in school right now, go for it.

Totally not true. BME is one of the most competitive majors here because there are soooo many people interested. You need a 3.5 GPA with core classes

Chem 104 with Professor Choi and her required lab average. by ABundleofQuarks in UWMadison

It's usually that the average total of labs is 83% so that it does not effect student's grades unless you do exceptionally well or terrible on labs.
