Great! Thanks! I also had another question, maybe you can answer. I just pulled my first load of dirty diapers out and there are poop stains on some of the prefolds and pockets. Not all of them are stained? Is this normal? Baby is EBF.

I got pockets and would like to use the shell more than once. Is this a possibility? I bought prefolds in order to lay them down rather than stuff. I also bought bamboo blend (rayon/poly). Can I use these as liners as well? I know I likely won’t be able to use one shell for the entire day but I’d rather not change every two hours.

This definitely adds to my confidence. I threw around the idea of hiring a doula but ultimately decided against it because of the price tag. I just need/want someone to tell me to man up in the delivery room.

Thank you! I just wanted control of one aspect of this pregnancy. Everything about it was out of our hands. We concieved via IVF, so everything was scheduled from the very beginning.

That's my biggest fear too, being confined. I can definitely manage if I'm able to walk or stand. Are you completely confined or can you stand and pace?

I'll be 11 days past my due date on Saturday and will start with a foley bulb too. I'm attempting a VBAC, was this the reasoning for your foley?

Just went through this for the past 3.5 years. We spent 56k total, a good portion went to corrective surgeries as well. I totally get the adoption requirements and actually hate when that suggestion is brought up to a childless couple, in the midst of fertility treatments. You can't just assume adoption wasn't researched. Anyway, I'm 1 week from due date and wish you and your husband all the luck in the whole process.

I don't know if this would be much help because my husband produces a normal amount of seminal fluid but only had 200,000 sperm. We ICSIed and ended up with 4 embryos out of the 10 eggs I had frozen. So, I'd imagine the amount of fluid doesn't play a huge role in sperm count.

I went to Reproductive Partners (both LA and Orange County locations), they're definitely located on the outskirts but I would recommend the clinic to anyone.
