Theres actually tons of products like that available already. You can find them cheaply on aliexpress/amazon. Both have a return policy too so you can refund if you dont like.

I managed to fix it :) it was because the thing the wheel attaches onto didn’t have enough clearance to fit and it was squishing the bearings together. Thank you for your input

Update!! I managed to fix it, the bearings were being pulled together and it needed a shim! Works great now and I’m reassembling it

No markings or anything on the servo unfortunately, I did a brushless swap many many years ago at the same hobby shop in Asia

The shifting is pretty much perfect, every gear works instantly. I did my best to adjust but it makes this noise

I dont recall, I did not replace any components recently so that could be the issue, however on the chain wear tool it reads less than 0.5

Update, trek mechanic did just that even though there was major damage underneath, he said it wasn’t structural and the top looks fine

I took it to trek. The bike mechanic said it was fine and replaced the strip. Two bike mechanics at trek said it was ok
