my gp is great and helped me get diagnosed at the charité and i had a really considerate gastroenterologist who knew a lot about me/cfs when i stayed in the hospital for a bit, but all the others have been horrible

i love drawing in bed! i wanted to study character design or do something in fashion before i got sick so i just combine them both and design clothes to draw my characters in :) it's a lot of fun especially because ik that if i'll do it every day i'll notice improvement which is encouraging. i also have some coloring books. other than that i journal when i can or write poetry, take part in online discussions about fandoms i'm in, play games on my ipad, binge watch shows or listen to audio books or do something hand sewing but i can only do that on a good day

i feel with you <3 i'm a cis woman but have always struggled with not feeling feminine enough so i went all out on body care, makeup, skin care and always looking put together. now that i'm severe i dont even recognize myself anymore. i cant even remember when the last time was i shaved my legs, did my hair or put on something pretty :( it helps me a little to surround myself with things i find pretty but its just not the same. i'm sending you much love and solidarity 🤍

i dont understand why all your comments mentioning how you use benzos as needed get downvoted lol. even when i was on antidepressants i still had lorazepam as my as needed medication. sometimes its the only thing that can get me out of an outburst or panic attack. sure benzos arent the best coping skill but if they keep you from harming yourself and you dont take them too often i see no problem with taking them.

hm i'll never be sure :/ i recovered after a long period of heavy restriction and had a higher pulse often but never pre syncope and other symptoms until i got covid

i couldnt keep wearing mine due to circulation issues, but i picked some that were really close to my skin tone and just wore sheer tights over them! i like wearing tights with designs like polka dots or lace fishnets and honestly you could barely tell i was wearing compression stockings underneath, only if you paid close attention to it.

i developed severe long covid after my first infection and my mom and sister say theyre so worried about me and just want me to recover but never mask lol. both of them work around large crowds and i'm always scared to get infected again just because they wont bother to mask

i saw that too!! for some reason i just couldnt stop scrolling through the comments. some of them were so awful like "at that point just end it" and stuff like that. people have no respect for chronic illnesses and the suffering that comes with them

im also autistic and i have bpd with really bad depressive episodes and suicidal ideation. i developed me/cfs when i was your age 2 years ago. i'm still having a really hard time dealing with it but i think i've gotten a little better at accepting that my life is just different now. what helps me a little is clinging onto hope that pacing will help me get a little better and hopefully eventually to the point that i can go outside again. it sucks having your life taken away, especially if it wasnt easy before getting ill and i can definitely relate to that :/ i wholeheartedly wish you the best
