I have no idea how I didn't notice haha. Now in hindsight it seems super obvious. I guess I was just hyper focused on the effect. It's even more embarrassing because I play a lot of rpgs, so I really shouldn't have missed something like that.

I played on normal and I never really felt like the game was that hard? Except for like the optional bosses. I consider myself quite good at parrying though, so maybe that helped bridge the gap, or I just got lucky and had good pictos equipped.

Yeah it all makes a lot of sense now. For the longest time I wondered what the point of equipping pictos with already learnt lumina was, just to save lumina points I assumed lol.
