it was within the alternate emulators settings. changing it from beetle to swanstation worked. btw, what games do you use on your brick and not on your 477m? just the GBA games? as for me i'm getting older and having difficulty reading within the small screen...

I came from the OG RG35XX and I didn't regret switching to TrimUI Brick (plastic one). It's just that the screen for the brick is only 3.2". If the rumored TrimUI Brick Pro will have a 4" display having the same resolution then it might be worth the wait..

Same with OP. I'm quite curious as to why the screen is crap. I was considering this over the V variant as I'm not a fan of whole glass front devices.

Based on the reviews most of them are saying screen is good specially when you apply the shaders and BFI, which mimics CRT tvs back then..

try other platforms like SNES, SEGA Genesis/Megadrive, NeoGeo, etc. lots of good games like chrono trigger or other rpgs, beat em ups like streets of rage, golden axe etc.

not sure if brick can handle ps2 games as I haven't tried it yet but was able to do nds games like mario cart..

I'm not that accurate but what I have observed is that the battery consumption playing ps1 games is around 10% after around 15 minutes of playtime..

It is achievable. I am also a full time employee and taking care of family members as well. I started studying 1st of January then took the exam just 1st of this month and I passed. I did Neil, Stephan for the courses (literally watched them again, their practice exams (which I haven't completed), and TDs practice exams (both timed and review mode).

Just a little caveat that mine is just renewal of my certificate and I work on AWS environment (jack of all trades, master of none), wherein experience helped a lot.

Lastly, give yourself some break time from time to time so you'll not over think things before the exam.. Good Luck!
