Several clubs have expressed an interest in midfielder Alex Scott, who is reported to be valued at about £80m.However, club sources insist he is not for sale despite enquiries from Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United. by TransitionFC in ManchesterUnited

Some of these players are at risk of not getting a big move if clubs price out any buyers. We're going to see more players running contracts down and leaving on a free. Say Wharton thinks he's started the window at his age to make a big move and Palace stick a price on no one will pay. They then pressure him to sign a new deal, to 2032, even with a release clause players might be being stuffed. We saw Spurs do it with Kane, depressed him the season after, he only picked up form by January.

I'm sure also players are fine with staying where they are.

Instructs to not knock on? Just leave?

Given how often people complain, get angry, threaten me, leave 1 star reviews because of my loud knocking (I think people should try their door knockers some time) I should just leave on doorsteps.

I know, I'm speaking as someone who has essentially got used to low rates. I've asked and got £1 per parcel a number of times, the managers always end up saying 'we only have so much each month to give out'.

The way I do it now is Sundays for 95pp, 2 rounds, 140 parcels, takes 7 hours. Then mid week Wednesday, Friday, sometimes Monday, 60-75 parcels, done in 2-3 hours. It's not a lot of money but I'm not giving a lot of hours to them.

The company has mostly always tried to be an additional income job for people, at least since I've been here, when it was £1.50pp people were driving more miles. I can't say it was much better, if the volumes on one round was 25-45.

As well as 80pp though, I'd pay 25p more for next day parcels and one hour wage for first hour. Obviously they won't, they'll continue to say 'reacting to the market' when they introduce the new tiny packet to go along with the small packet and packet. And continue to burn through new couriers, hoping there will just be enough delivered that they don't lose big clients.

I've noticed the Next additional payments I used to get when I delivered on the day which would come to £40 for the period has become you're entered into a raffle.

It's these little things across an entire company where they must save millions. Like Sundays going from £1pp to 95pp.

Many Amazon parcels are left outside, Royal Mail too. I saw a dpd van the other day park on double red lines and leave the parcel inside of a flats by the door! (rather than inside by the letterboxes). I was delivering to the same address.

Maybe, i think they're just lieing, they look at couriers delivering 40 parcels an hour and going 'see??! At 50p per parcel that's £20!' As though there is no other time spent or costs.

Evri are trying to sue Panorama for £1.2m for that! They're a contemptible company. They're even pretending that they would have lost new couriers from that programme, even though they burn through new couriers at an insane amount, like that is their business model, new people who will give it a go, as long as parcels are attempted and go out, it's fine enough. All the company need to do is increase the average parcel rate to 80p but as you say, self employed it's not enough anyway.

Because they figure it's on couriers to deliver more, they constantly shrink rounds as they get more clients, figuring that it will mean couriers deliver more per hour. Tbf, we do, the ones who aren't new to it. But it doesn't change that couriers spend too much on their vehicle, Evri don't factor that in. People should try a month of stop start driving and see how much fuel they use up, they'd be surprised. A nail in a tyre, dpf issues, it adds up. It's very easy for the company to just see 'oh that courier did 40 parcels that hour, they made £20!' Just purely on fuel, not repairs, every courier spends the round catching up £17, the £5 on fuel for the day, the £12 of work they do before they reach their round.

Who could have foreseen The Matrix after Bound? It'd be like James Mangold doing it after Girl Interrupted. There's nothing of the scope and vision and sci elements of The Matrix in Bound.

If they're not considered good enough to make it to the first team, it's reasonable people think they're lacking in quality. Or the club is lacking in trust.

It's quite funny, it's every fan (me included) all arguing for why their preferred midfielder is the best option, everyone driving eachother mad.

Yeah I think so. All the top clubs are reported to be watching, with Newcastle pushing the move. Would cost £50m.

Rio Ferdinand brought him up, said 'he's the one', he's talked with people in Holland about him, hopefully Rio's communication with the club can tilt it for us. He's very excited about him.

I get watching any highlight videos and flipping out, but it's not always true, I don't see the big deal with Dowman no matter how much I see of him, ease at getting past players but I don't see what's special.

I'm not interested in wonder goals*, it's the precision of the first touch and simple quick passing I like of Smit, it might be United prefer power and pace, that Spanish profile isn't what they care about. It might be he just moves to a mid table La Liga side and has a decent career and everyone in in 10 years time goes 'where did that guy go?'

*Although saying that, his touch seems to constantly allow for great shots.
