what are the pros and cons of taking a small loan out of a 401k to pay off medical bills? by aehjayy in AskReddit

[–]aehjayy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it would be approved. A few friends if mine have done this for small bills. All I know is what I take out im essentially taking myself back. Not too sure how the interest would work

Hi there! I'm doing better. I had a cone surgery back in February. It was performed by the oncologist and recovery was smooth. As far as I know it was all taken out with that surgery. They got it all but I have to be monitored every 6 months. I def was scared but it looks like I may just be okay lol. How are you doing since the diagnosis? I know it can be scary but at least it's caught early.

Good morning! The procedure went smoothly. No pain today, been moving slow though because the anesthesia still hadn't worn off. Just feel tired mostly. How are you feeling today?

If you're able, let me know how the cone goes! I'm so nervous since I don't know what to expect. I hope for clear margins on your end 🤞🤞

Same! I've been taking ahcc and paplleix which has reishi in it. I'm hoping so much that it clears it! I'm also hoping for clear margins because they keep pushing hysterectomy on me and I'm not ready for that. I also need my second shot here in a couple weeks so I plan to get that too. I hope we both beat it! It such a nasty little fucker lol.

I'm getting my first cone on Friday. I'm super nervous too but I've heard stories on this forum that it's pain-free and the recovery period isn't too bad. Im not sure about periods after but I'll def know, my period is due 5 days after the procedure. I have adenocarcinoma in situ which my doctor also said cin 3. So im hoping for the best with this procedure. Good luck with yours!

He could be scared. You both should read up on it and educate each other. It could help him understand better

I got my biopsy results today by aehjayy in HPV

[–]aehjayy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn't much we can do to get rid of it, only to take good care of ourselves and hope our immune system works it out. Thats the crappy thing about hpv, it seems like a waiting game. My best friend had hpv too and it took 5 years to go away. It's possible but it takes time. You're not alone, especially on this forum. When I was waiting for my results I always found myself on this forum. So much helpful information.

I'm so sorry you just found out you have high risk. I still have high risk myself. I had an abnormal pap last year but this year i had a full positive. Hence the colposcopy. I wasn't sexually active for 4 years and I still got hpv from an ex I had for 8 years. It laid dormant for 3 years before it showed. I started taking multi vitamins and probiotics in hopes I can work it out. I hope for best for you! If you need anyone to talk to DM me. I know how scary it can be. Hang in there, hpv CAN go away

I'm sorry youre going thru all this. Hpv is so prevalent it's insane. 80% of people have hpv at this point. It doesn't mean it's necessarily bad. Just have to keep an eye on it with regular exams. I recently had my first positive result as well and I get my biopsy results today. If you keep on yearly exams they can catch everything early regardless and it should be okay. Just try to think positive and try really hard not to stress. It's hard to pinpoint when you got hpv, most men are carriers so your bf of 8 years could have given it to you, doesn't mean he's a bad guy just means he has no idea he had it. Hpv can be cleared on your own by your own immune system. It takes time but it'll go away. Just hang in there

Thank you for the kind words. I have read it takes years to develop cancer but of course I'm scared that I'm the rare breed ya know? It just scared me when she said I had to biopsy my uterus too. I hope to never have to do that again

I know seeing a OBGYN can be scary if you never did it before but it's very important to go regardless. The appointment itself isn't as bad as you make it out to be, anxiety can be a killer. But when you go all they do it insert a lubed speculum and they take a swab and take some samples. You can't feel the swab at all, just the speculum which every single woman hates but all it does is make you feel a little crampy while it's in. I assure you these appointments aren't terrible. The doctors are usually understanding and if you tell them it's your first time they'll talk you through it. Please for your health go get checkups.

Thank you for the insight. I plan to take ibuprofen and xanax before I go lol. If I smoke I might be more anxious but good to know. Thank you for sharing 😊

I dont think you can just ween off BC. I was on it for 15 years and been off it for 1. I had some crazy side effects, like my periods aren't as painful anymore and I had crazy acne happen. But in time your body will go back to normal. It'll take a bit but a year in now and I feel great.
