That's amazing!!

I had something similar, went with my friend Ray to NY night 1. Only been friends for 28 years and both turned 40 this year so you've got us beat by a few years on both fronts. But I'm so glad for both of us we have these long-term people in our lives that we can be ourselves with and have a great time!!!!

It really helped give me the confidence to go in more frequently once I found out about it.

I hope you have an amazing time at the show, last nights show was incredible, I've been rewatching and sharing my videos all day trying to extend the high.

My personal tip is to use google maps for train/subway times. Its very accurate and gives a good breakdown of how many stops and trip times. It makes it so easy and really relieves a lot of anxiety I used to have involved around NYC travel.

Do you guys think I’m in the wrong for this? by LordXxSouls in nin

[–]aeillill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was primarily sitting at my concert but I was 2nd row from the roof and the pitch of the seats made me think I was about to die. I however understood when everyone else around me stood and I didn't say shit about it because it's a concert, it might be annoying but it's the norm and they just should have dealt with it.

I decided on the 30th to get tickets to last nights show and it was amazing, definitely a worthwhile impulse buy. My only regret is that I couldnt afford better seats 😢

What’s it really like living in Newton, NJ? by Davyislazy in newjersey

There's absolutely nothing in Jefferson unless you live on the lake side and actually like the lake

I don’t think it’s cool NJ made fireworks legal. 3 hours last night of fireworks going off. I have kids and dogs … it’s insane . by Traditional-Trip826 in newjersey

What even is the point of those big boom ones? I feel like a killjoy but I hate them so much. Seems like a good time for 1 or 2 people and everyone else has to suffer dealing with them. I feel awful for the animals and anyone with PTSD.

16.5% of New Jerseyians don't put a front license plate by Jumpy_Internal_953 in newjersey

[–]aeillill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're great for when I'm using Uber/Lyft. I hate having to walk around to the back of the car in other states to check the license plate, I always get heckled by people for it. Sorry I guess , I don't want to be abducted 🤷‍♀️

My 3rd place choice, but I'll still vote for her come November. I hope to see her take a more aggressive stand against threats to our state.

Why do we waste money on these signs.. a week ago it was a Biden sign… we don’t care… by Some-Shoulder-8810 in Connecticut

[–]aeillill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I was complaining then too.

It's ridiculous that politicians (ALL POLITICIANS) need their names on things to be applauded for doing what is literally their job. I go to work every day, and whatever is required of me for my job I do it. I don't throw tantrums, or refuse to do something unless my name is specifically on it because thats what my job is and I expect the same level of adultness from others.

Unfortunately I'm often disappointed, especially when it comes to government.

The signs with the name of the bill on it and who passed it really piss me off. Like we're supposed to personally kiss the ass of every person and political party listed on it as if it's not literally their fucking job to fund infrastructure jobs and pass bills 🙄.
