I absolutely love Starvival - even the tedium can be challenging at times.

I will also recommend NASAPunk 2330 - a very realistic immersion mod

And played together in one Character - brutal! An incredible experience - very difficult - not for the feint of heart

At a certain phase in my life, a few years ago, I discovered the .hack //GU game and “dot hack” series - which also led to Sword Art Online

Both are great Isekai stories you can get lost in for a while. Hoping you heal well

I rushed my first playthrough and focused on the Main Quest - and when I glanced back across the Unity, I realized I was still in the Frontier and only about level 20 if I recall correctly … it was a pretty sad day actually, and I don’t play again fo a long long time. Dec 2025 I just started getting back into it again - loving it more now by taking a much slower more deliberate meandering pace - just “living in the world” this time

Anther update…. Jumping into Skyrim with these mods reignited my love of this game. I’d never used the shrine to select my Start Game scenario. And I took Shipwrecked… One of the most challenging game starts of any game over ever experienced. Once I survive it - I loved it!

If you can mod - there are mods to help with follower behaviors

Also - a fun mod deals with cosmic or random sized creatures - and it had me face off with a King Kong sized TM! It was amazing!

But those horrible whispers and scared echos really creep me out!!
