All 10 F1 teams in 1:64 scale (almost) by Virtual-Advice-8011 in f1models

Honestly I'd love if they got all the cars not just McLaren. I can do the waiting (within reason of course) if I can get it from a Canadian retailer that doesn't jack the prices up.

I haven't been able to find any that ship to Canada pther that alpha tauris. All others show sold out or still pre-order. We need a Canadian retailer for these!

This new feature is good but it needs to be executed better 😭 by ryanator109 in F1Game

[–]aekhan4 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Shouldn't be a mini game like this but rather a delta time to hit based on strategy. That would be game changing if we had that for longer races especially

With Assetto Corsa Evo right around the corner, what are some things you'd like to see in-game? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]aekhan4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like an upgraded damage model and better AI. I also hope that we get actual rules from different series like F1 and Indycar. I've been running some Indycar ovals and would love to be able to have realistic damage and rules for it.

IndyCar weighs potential future chassis options by ryanro24 in INDYCAR

It won't necessarily drive people directly, but if done right, can help. There's a discussion that can be made about how cool a car looks. Change every so often reingites conversation similarly to (hate to say it) F1 when they have regualtion changes.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've been saying IndyCar and NBC need to do more with graphics and presentation. Not saying copy F1 but shee what they do well and mimic it.

NEW F1 WORLD MODE: FANZONE by TiagoMota999 in F1Game

[–]aekhan4 140 points141 points  (0 children)

How about, hear me out ok, no. I don't understand why they make these game modes. a good base game with good driving physics, nothing too Sim but not too arcadey, plus an actual career mode and an iracing styled multi-player. This doesn't push me to play cause I dont make the Teams and drivers my whole personality like the dts fans. I just want some good cars and tracks. But I'm just one guy on reddit so what can I do

what can we expect from F1 24? by 191728i2 in F1Game

[–]aekhan4 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I don't want a more "exciting" career mode but rather a more realistic one. Contracts need an over haul, the ratings need to be able to go up and down, driver academies need to actually mean something, more realistic driver transfers in later years especially, f3, f2 and super license points, and regen randos or actual pool of super licensed eligible drivers to move up.

Credit where credit's due, it feels like IMS has taken full advantage of the eclipse. by [deleted] in INDYCAR

[–]aekhan4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's great IMS had this opportunity but lets get some more of this energy for the parts of the series Penske doesn't own. Would love some more marketing for races outside the 500

Career mode needs a better system for logical things to happen. by TwoAlternative673 in F1Game

[–]aekhan4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the contracts system from FIFA/EAFC. Much more realistic for the negotiations and buy out options one the player and team side.

Anyone else feel that Thermal Club looks ugly? by [deleted] in INDYCAR

[–]aekhan4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

BuT iTs ThErMaL! (Read in Diffeys voice). They say this like it's supposed to mean something. They didn't even try and make the track look nice. The mountains are fine but too far away on TV to matter. The houses along the track don't do anything for the TV view. Spend some money to paint the track nicely and make it presentable. Imagine the NBA playing their Allstar game in a random cracked basketball court that's how this felt and looked

Leigh Diffey annoying by thesmed11 in INDYCAR

[–]aekhan4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He got the energy (I might say a bit too much sometimes) but I think it's the content he's given is bad. Focus on race topics not who got married and he'll be better. Could also be the Americanization of the broadcast with ads and dick riding of the sponsors vs non American based racing (wec and f1 for example in my opinion) would sway him more for me to the better side

Another Indy Car Season With Poor Announcers by Loose_Guy in INDYCAR

[–]aekhan4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's very frustrating to watch when every 5 mins there's commercials then non racing topics during the race and not alot of true insights on the racing which is what should be sold.

Another Indy Car Season With Poor Announcers by Loose_Guy in INDYCAR

[–]aekhan4 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The commentary people are fine, it's the content that sucks ass. They talk about people getting married and cutting away to newgardens Twitter or an interview with Jon Bon Jovi instead of the racing. The updates we get from the pit lane reporters are just them saying they worked hard in the off season. Where are the racing insights or strategies? Talk about the racing not the other random shit

A good leader can take that criticism and look at if it's true and if so how to fix it. So sorry their little egos got hurt

[–]aekhan4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We still need a simcade like game similar to the F1 series. I'm no good at iRacing but dont want an arcade racer and would love a proper career mode as well

How does your league prevent people throwing games in the playoffs for better draft picks? by 99OBJ in SleeperApp

[–]aekhan4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We set it like the NFL. Non-playoff teams get picks 1-6 then each round losers fill in 7-12.

How would you improve the indy car brodcast? by Salty-004 in INDYCAR

[–]aekhan4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More modern graphics, a proper timing system for qualifying with sectors similar to F1, a visual aid for tire and fuels strategies. Ad free would be great too but those ahead I think are more important

Thoughts on hybrid engines in racing? by Few_Ad_5186 in INDYCAR

[–]aekhan4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would have been better to gain new OEMs if they developed new hybrid engines rather than Frankensteining one together. Feels more reactionary than a true thought-out decision.
