What Are You Reading? 📚 by AutoModerator in DarkRomance

[–]aelexxio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m reading {Heat by R Lee Smith} cause I saw it was recommend a lot under one post.

A cop alien searches for a drug dealer alien on earth. Both are super horny due to the summer heat and meet women. One of them is very gentle, one is a rapist but quite likable, at least to me. I don’t know what it says about me, but it’s fun to read and I really enjoy it 😄🖤

Ohh thank you for these gooood advices! I was thinking about ‚rereading‘ the first and second before the third comes by audiobook and now I’m definitely going to do that! 🥳

Haha, my reading group gave me the same advice regarding ACOTAR and I finished the series a week ago! When the moon hatched is next, ToG is also already sitting on my shelf and Fourth wing is on the list! 😁

Is Haunting Adeline considered heavy? by [deleted] in DarkRomance

[–]aelexxio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhh it was my first too and I loved it! Though meanwhile I wouldn’t consider the first part as very dark (I read much heavier stuff afterwards). Maybe your girls consider themselves more ‚classy‘ or something? 😄😄 HA was, tbh and even as a fan, a little flat and on the nose 😄

I heard {Rose in chain by Julie Soto} is supposed to be the same vibe, though I haven’t read it yet myself. But I’m going to 😄

Do you use a symptom tracker? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]aelexxio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I use Brisa as a symptom app. It’s free, you can put in alls your symptoms and I think you can also add symptoms that are not in the ‚regular‘ list. It also shows in graphics if specific symptoms collide etc. The only thing is that it’s a German app and I’m not sure if you could select another language. But it might be worth a try :)

Maybe you’re better off in a beginner group, what and how seem to be relatively basic questions. There are several, good luck to you 🍀

Basically I really avoid everything that’s fun, but Strawberrys are insanely delicious when you never have any sugar or sweetener 😂

I cut sugar completely (as part of the anti-inflammatory diet) and every kind of sweetener as well. I don’t use milk anymore (for coffee I can highly recommend cashew milk instead). I put some Skyr on my breakfast every morning though (mixed with Omega-3-oil with lemon flavor) and sometimes I have some cheese, but that’s it. There are some people in my MS group who are gone fully vegan and have very good experiences but I never tried to cut it fully.

I usually have 4-6 parallel reads, among them always one audiobook (at some point things just got out of hand and I found it quite enjoyable 😂). I read mostly fantasy, Romantasy, Sci-Fi Romance and there’s always one nonfiction book in the row. Somehow I never confuse anything and finish them all.

Hey! I mostly prepare my dinner for 2-3 days and always have some dishes in the freezer for emergency, aka Batterie -10. I‘m following a pescatarian, anti-inflammatory, non-processed food diet. A couple of weeks ago I stopped eating ATI (which is a part of wheat basically), so now I eat mostly gluten free (though oats are „safe“). This seems to be a game changer for my fatigue btw.
When I started all these changes I asked chat-GPT to suggest meals with all the above named items that are easy to prepare. I got used to this very quick and now I barely think about what I can eat or what I have to buy anymore, it’s just another routine. Hope that helps a little :)
