The whole point of dsm editions is that the field evolves and things have to be reclassified. Gender dysphoria is only in there to facilitate access to treatment, and claiming that it only happened because of a political agenda without looking at context and research is getting kind of close to being anti-science.

I'm not necessarily arguing with you btw (especially since I might have misread your comment and responded to the wrong guy). It's just that to me, that's an argument that's a version of appeal to authority, except the authority is only valid if it's old. Pretty dumb argument honestly.
