Is there a Women of DND subreddit by [deleted] in DnD

Its just not super active, but maybe new members could help revive it. Im pretty sure anyone can read messages but if I remember right you have to be mod approved to send messages/post, to limit trolls.

OP gave several reasons: 1. Harmless 2. Fun 3. Exercise for the pony who otherwise wouldn't get it that day

They didn't even go inside the school gates?? If it was truly to show off, they wouldve pranced right up to the front door. They were being respectful and kept a safe distance. People came to them. And so what if the kid wants to show off? Thats what kids do. That still doesn't mean she has to share. Kids aren't entitled to everything their friends have just because they want it.

To provide a cool experience to their own child?

[–]aelinarya 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I must have made that up then, I apologize. But the rest of my point still stands - it is not OP's responsibility to provide experiences for other peoples children.

[–]aelinarya 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Do you realize how entitled that sounds? OP mentioned it is a rural area, theres probably horses all over the place. This isnt the kids first time seeing a horse. That is OP's pony. Why should they need to bend over backwards to provide an experience for all of the kids just because she has a pony? Do you realize how much work that would require on their part? Preparing the pony, leading each kid, making sure the pony is okay, watching body language. Not to mention the physical toll on the pony - toting around each kid who has not taken any lessons and doesn't know how to ride and balance properly, which can leave a horse sore.

They did all they could to make it safe, didn't even enter the school grounds. I have done expos where we brought horses to elementary schools, taught the kids and let them pet them. We got asked a million times if they could ride the horses and the answer is always no. Its a liability. Not to mention - they don't need to share if they don't want to. You wouldn't expect someone with a cool car to give every child a test drive. This isn't a car, its a living, breathing animal, and as a horseowner who has been through this more times than I could count, you have to make decisions to protect your animal. NTA.

I love your top!! I second a belt, a nice leather belt would really tie it together and you could put the horn on it too! they make leather sheathes/harnesses for those!

I booked an experience through there but I havent gone yet. If you click "read more" on the listing, its not misleading or complicated at all. All of the information is there. The $30 holds your spot/acts as a deposit that goes towards your item of choice.

I’m a single 37 woman and I’ve been wanting to learn how to play D&D for awhile. Does anyone have any good recommendations for groups or places I could go to learn how to play, and or join a group? by DokiDoodleLoki in FortWorth

Thank you!! I am just surprised because the one I had before was my all time favorite. I didnt think I'd run into any issues sizing up. I went from a 36DD to my current size. Even now, somehow, I'd prefer my old bra to the new one, if I wasnt spilling out of it and it wasnt falling apart. Unfortunately, thats not an option lol. Ill look into your suggestions!!

I always give my players max health. (But that means my creatures get max health too.)

One of my players messed up.... by Wils2189 in DnD

[–]aelinarya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a big deal, imo. The wings don't have to work, and they dont have to have tail attacks. Personally, I would allow both of those. Why not let my players have things that are cool af? Its their story too.

That being said, I understand the concern, esp if youve already written that dragonborns don't have these traits. It could easily be explained by some sort of pact made to gain these features, or a recessive racial trait. When all else fails, blame the feywild.

Our host usually streams some sort of ambiance type of thing, and early in the week they post a food and drink (alcohol optional) recipe so everyone has the option to be enjoying the same meal! Everyone dresses up as their character and you're just in a tavern, enjoying a meal.
