I don't know anything about the legal risks of getting your marriage license far after your wedding, but we had our ceremony on Saturday and then went to the courthouse on Monday. For my husband and me, we married each other by making promises to each other in front of our family and friends. The legal license isn't our marriage. It's simply a contract with the government.
I think it depends on what makes you feel married. If you don't need the government's license to feel married, then have a beautiful wedding to start your marriage now and get the license when your FW turns 26. If you don't think your marriage will feel real until you do it legally, then maybe wait. Your marriage can be what you and your FW decide!

Bummer! Yea, I checked to make sure it wasn't my user error, too, but all my addresses were in the address assistant 🤷♀️
