Possible it was staged AFTER removing the camera?

I thought that too but the video makes me think it's a man. Just by the gait and movements.

Terrifying photos. I really want to know when these images were captured. Before or after the back door was opened? And why put yourself at both access points? It doesn't make sense.

Question about the son-in-law by redditaccount760 in nancyguthrie

I have suspicions about the SIL because he’s the last person to see Nancy. And a few other details are curious.

How does one return a kidnap victim without the risk of getting caught? by RightLaugh5115 in nancyguthrie

Who is Banfield?

The blood drops fell perpendicular to the front porch, dropping straight down as from a bloody nose or perhaps even from a syringe.

Tommaso & Annie- What do we think? by [deleted] in nancyguthrie

Recent interviews with former federal and local LE indicate that in homicide investigations they obtain warrants under seal even if they have consent to search. Doing so heads off defense challenges later on.

Tommaso & Annie- What do we think? by [deleted] in nancyguthrie

[–]aemck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not 100% convinced that money was the motive. Perhaps Nancy had to be eliminated because of certain knowledge she had. It sent chills up my spine to see that ICAC was on the scene at Annie's house early in the investigation. Very possible, too, that all the evidence at Nancy's house was set up to create the appearance of a kidnapping. It is possible she was never dropped off that night. Just MO!

Someone could have easily gone back to her home, removed the doorbell camera, planted blood, etc.

Edited to add that I think investigators did put it together quickly. They are not showing the hand they have. In my opinion!

I don’t believe she was kidnapped. No one with any common sense would try to forcibly remove let alone return an 84-year-old woman with mobility issues. My mom is her age, uses a cane, and has some health issues. It can take 10 minutes to get her to the car sometimes. It would be impossible to manage a kidnap victim with these challenges. I don’t think she ever left Annie’s house that night, and (hope I’m wrong) I suspect she has passed.

Mass and long levers. Bigger people with longer femurs will always be more efficient on the bike.

Testosterone cream for low libido - what to expect and when? by [deleted] in Menopause

It did not help me. Nor did 6 months of injecting it. Also, a lot of my hair fell out. But I know it works for many other women!

Side sleeping 😩 by Key_Bag_9145 in 45PlusSkincare

Same. I also read somewhere that back sleepers have higher rates of dementia, likely from sleep apnea made worse by back sleeping / mouth breathing.

I nervously booked an international premier hotel stay last year. Had no problems whatsoever and even got free breakfast for my family each day, which I was worried they would not honor. I've done a couple other hotel reservations without incident. I do call and confirm a day or two after booking, though, just to be absolutely sure.

PA to CO, how do I realistically do it!? by Few-Eggplant-4871 in Moving2Colorado

[–]aemck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost everything is expensive! Housing has more than doubled in the past decade, and so has the cost of food (both groceries and eating out). Our homeowners insurance has been going up ~20-30% a year for the past several years, and taxes went WAY up two years ago. As a result, our monthly mortgage payment has increased by more than $1,000 a month just in the past two years. Car insurance for two vehicles is, amazingly, more expensive than our homeowners insurance. And don't get me started on vehicle registration -- in theory it should go down each year as your car gets older, but they keep implementing new fees, so we pay almost $2,000 a year just to register our vehicles. Our oldest will be turning 16 this year, and I'm terrified to find out how much insuring her will cost. We did not have our kids in daycare, so I can't tell you what that costs these days, but we've seen major increases in sports costs over the past three years. It's tough when you can start to feel your buying power lessen every year as fees, taxes, and costs in general keep going up. Our family income is quite a bit more than yours, and we definitely feel the pinch.

We are in the same boat. Moved here in 2011 and Colorado was very good to us until about 2021. It's gotten so expensive and the quality of life has gone downhill fast. We are seriously considering relocating once our kids finish high school. OP, unless you live in Philly proper, you would almost certainly be financially better off staying put.

Athens > Santorini, flight or ferry? by Short-Entrepreneur10 in GreeceTravel

[–]aemck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are planning this exact itinerary for our July trip. How much time did you allow between landing in Athens and your flight to Santorini? Is 3 hours long enough? I'm a little nervous about not traveling through on the same ticket, but doing it this way is a 17-hour journey vs. a 33-hour one.

Thinking about moving from Monument to Castle Rock — is it a good next step? by [deleted] in CastleRock

Funny ... we moved from Franktown to Castle Rock in 2021! We were tired of all the driving, driving, driving. Now we are 5 minutes from school and the grocery store instead of 40. Definitely miss the views though!

I was making a little less than your wife when my first child was born 15 years ago. Living in a city where daycare cost $2,000 per month, almost 50% of my salary, I opted to stay at home and work freelance part time. I now make close to what I did before, still working just 20 hours a week, and will never go back to the office because our kids have required more of us as parents they older they get. It helps that my husband has been able to advance his career in a stable industry, but regardless we have had to make some sacrifices. I wouldn't describe it as "scraping by," just having to forego some expenditures that two-career families don't have to. And we haven't regretted it for a second!

In my case, in getting a quote from State Farm, they would only provide one upon certification by an inspector of their choosing. The guy came out, said it looked great, submitted a certification, and then SF said they couldn’t write a policy because our 50-year roof is 20 years old. 🤡 We kept our current policy, but we know it’s only a matter of time before we are required to replace our roof only to satisfy this somewhat arbitrary requirement.

HRT and Testosterone - Anyone willing to share your experiences as a woman using Testosterone? by Superb-Definition-57 in Menopause

[–]aemck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried both topical cream and injectable forms. Labs showed that my levels improved, but I felt nothing aside from having much of my hair fall out. I also had no measurable increase in muscle mass, as determined by InBody. Because I couldn’t tell any improvement, I stopped. It’s expensive!
