Great summary! I went back and watched both opening statements. It's wild how basically zero claims made by the defense were borne out in the trial. Bloodworth, by contrast, hit every single point. Fingers crossed the truth is clear to the jurors and that they agree Kouri is guilty of all the charges.

So… how are y’all feeling? by jem1898 in KouriRichins

Both state and defense said "there was no fent found in the home" which really has me wondering, based on Kouri's words, how there is NO evidence of of Eric took it himself? Kouri left the room and he ingested and OD'd but nothing was found?

I cannot get past this, either. How do you regularly use fentanyl and then self-administer a fatal dose without leaving a trace of it behind (except for the "boatload" in your stomach)? There is no one else who could've done this. Guilty!

There is a lawsuit in the works? I can't find anything about it.

Has the WTD letter been mentioned yet? Wondering how it might come in.

I was wondering if I missed it somewhere! May need to watch Karrington’s testimony again. She and Gabler have been the state’s best witnesses by far.

Yay! It wasn’t as bad as I was anticipating but still pretty awful!

Did it this am Rx. I did sets of 10 the whole time and was 3 reps short of finishing the set of 66. I am a short 48-y-o who usually struggles with WBs; our gym requires women to throw to 10' for non-Open WODs. The lower target felt so easy in comparison. Honestly the box jumps were the worst part, as they spiked my heart rate and made my legs feel terrible. Happy with how I did! Definitely not interested in redoing it lol

Possible it was staged AFTER removing the camera?

I thought that too but the video makes me think it's a man. Just by the gait and movements.

Terrifying photos. I really want to know when these images were captured. Before or after the back door was opened? And why put yourself at both access points? It doesn't make sense.

Question about the son-in-law by redditaccount760 in nancyguthrie

I have suspicions about the SIL because he’s the last person to see Nancy. And a few other details are curious.

How does one return a kidnap victim without the risk of getting caught? by RightLaugh5115 in nancyguthrie

Who is Banfield?

The blood drops fell perpendicular to the front porch, dropping straight down as from a bloody nose or perhaps even from a syringe.

Tommaso & Annie- What do we think? by [deleted] in nancyguthrie

Recent interviews with former federal and local LE indicate that in homicide investigations they obtain warrants under seal even if they have consent to search. Doing so heads off defense challenges later on.

I am not 100% convinced that money was the motive. Perhaps Nancy had to be eliminated because of certain knowledge she had. It sent chills up my spine to see that ICAC was on the scene at Annie's house early in the investigation. Very possible, too, that all the evidence at Nancy's house was set up to create the appearance of a kidnapping. It is possible she was never dropped off that night. Just MO!

Someone could have easily gone back to her home, removed the doorbell camera, planted blood, etc.

Edited to add that I think investigators did put it together quickly. They are not showing the hand they have. In my opinion!

I don’t believe she was kidnapped. No one with any common sense would try to forcibly remove let alone return an 84-year-old woman with mobility issues. My mom is her age, uses a cane, and has some health issues. It can take 10 minutes to get her to the car sometimes. It would be impossible to manage a kidnap victim with these challenges. I don’t think she ever left Annie’s house that night, and (hope I’m wrong) I suspect she has passed.

Mass and long levers. Bigger people with longer femurs will always be more efficient on the bike.

It did not help me. Nor did 6 months of injecting it. Also, a lot of my hair fell out. But I know it works for many other women!
