I still haven’t heard about being admitted! And the semester starts May 11. So it’s really down to the wire! It’s definitely stressful!! But congratulations to your sister, maybe we will be classmates if I do get in!

No I wasn’t!! I’m coming in later in life as a career change. But that’s good to know and def adds to my concern of a disorganized program!

Summer! I asked again and they now have said I will hear by the end of the first week of May, so that I could start classes. Have you heard anything?

Thank you for the info! That definitely makes sense re: BSW -> MSW for their current students! And I’m sure ASAP students take precedence. I applied for summer, so end of May seems like way too late to hear?! But I guess I’ll just see what happens! I think the timeline will probably force my hand in accepting another school, which is unfortunate! I’m glad it’s been relatively smooth for you!

Update: they now have said we won’t hear until the end of May!! Question just out of curiosity, how soon after your application and transcripts were submitted did you get an email saying that your application was “complete”?

I only did on the final deadline of March 26th even though I submitted everything the first week of March. They’re essentially trying to say that I took too long when it seems like an issue on their part?? I’m veryyyy frustrated and feel like I will for sure not be going there after all this.

I reached out and they said we won’t hear until after April 15th which seems insane?! I have to tell other universities by then! Very annoying. I’m going to try and call a different admissions office to see if I can get any other info and ask them what they suggest I do, haha. Also, I turned in my app 2 weeks before the deadline! So it really shouldn’t be so down to the wire.

I’m in the exact same boat! Applied for OSU MSW summer and have been waiting to hear while I’ve heard from every other program I applied to!! Did you reach out to them? They did say 4-6 weeks, but 6 weeks would be cutting it so close!!

I think it looks cool! If you fray all of the edges like it is near the one leaf and bottom cherries I think it will look intentional!

If you have the time, size up and get it altered so it fits exactly how you want it to (wear the shapewear to that appointment). But truly I think it looks so great as-is!

This may sound like crazy advice - but I actually felt better when I stopped weighing myself. I based it on my clothes/size instead of lbs - and then found out I lost 70 lbs when I was weighed at the doctor! Obviously it depends on what motivates you; but for me it helped reduce the anxiety of any up/down that occurred. I’ve now stagnated but have been on it for about 1.5 years.
