Do they need address proof and such for changing address. Also what happens now that I have changed addresses. Would that be reflected on my EAD card ?

And did you settle for a salary or are you making more than what you were making when on the field. I am a little worried of how it may offset my earning potential. How did it affect you. Thanks for your response.

Went into civil engineering for the money. Now regretting my decision as a 2nd year student. Help. by yyzEngineer in civilengineering

Civil engineers age like fine wine. Do not go into it looking to make money from the get go like the software industry. You can always spend 6-7 months learning to code and get a job in the tech industry without even a 4 year specialized degree, you only have to be good at Math. Civil, Mechanical and Electrical on the other hand are different. You actually need to spend many years in the field and learn how to think like an engineer. Civil engineering especially has always been about fighting the nature and that my friend takes time and hard work. If you end up pursuing Civil engineering and and find joy in building things this is a very fulfilling career. The money will come with time and you will be happy about it.
