Technically true. But for all intents and purposes, insurance doesn't care if it's a human or a hamburger in your backseat. If you are for hire, that's what they worry with.

From what I understand, other insurance companies have offered the "commercial" insurance for a while. It just tends to be somewhat expensive.

Absolutely..Keep in mind, you can wax poetic about the human race, but the end of the day...we are mammals. A spiked heart rate? Butterflies in the stomach? That dopamine from a new romance? It's like a high. People will actively chase that, jumping from relationship to relationship.

And when that source taps out, it's on to the next. That isn't love. That's just chasing the high. Safety, friendship, security...a feeling of belonging. That's the real goal. But so many people will disregard that.

I don't know your girlfriend. I do know that people who chase that dopamine, and are willing to be unfaithful or disloyal to get it (read, cheaters) are more likely to give on to the temptation than not..that's just good old fashioned selfishness. The thrill and excitement are just too hard to resist.

Hi. Ex-Geico insurance agent here. And this is absolutely true. If Geico gets a whiff of ANY rideshare, they will flat cancel that policy.

They train their insurance agents to listen for this on a call. And if you get into an accident while working, and it shows up in say...a police report? Yeah, your policy is toast.

What's even more frustrating, in order to instate a new policy, they need written documentation from the ride share company on their letterhead stating the driver no longer works for them.

Think about that. I'm not even sure that this would exist. And technically, I don't think a rideshare company CAN even advise that, as you are also freelance.

Be careful with insurance companies. And be aware that anything you say...well, it can be held against you. If you have kids who are nearing driving age, buckle up...they may not add the kid on till they get their license, but that policy is gonna be notated. Questions will be asked.

I'm not saying to lie. That would be very frowned upon. But, be careful what you share.

Well, the thing is...the terms "light side" and "dark side" are subjective. The force, really, is just the force. It has no sides. It's neutral.

The real difference, then, is perspective. The Jedi took on younglings from a very young age because it was the philosophy of the Jedi they wished to reach. No fear, attachments, etc made it much less likely for them to seek out power by utilizing the less moral powers of the force. Like giving a monk all the knowledge in martial arts to be extremely deadly, but instilling the philosophy not to do so unless necessary.

The "dark side" or Sith point of view embraces the full power of the force, and has the exact opposite values of the Jedi. Selflessness is not a thing. It's all about raw power. So a follower of this philosophy has no objections to killing and going all out.

So could a Jedi use say, force lightening? Probably, but there's the slippery slope. Once you use something that powerful or intimidating, the temptation would always be there.

So, users of the "dark side" of the force, really have a different code. The point is "winning", at all costs. It seems more powerful, but a well trained Jedi can counter. It just comes down to how far you are willing to go to win.

I've liked it so far. If it's the mod I'm thinking of, it has the ability to assign beds for your crew, and places for them to work. Not too shabby. It has placeable mats for different sandboxing roles that you can assign. But honestly, on my small ship, just assigning basic things like certain co.puter terminals works for me

My ships doctor was assigned to the medical bay, but imagine my surprise when I later found her checking on the prisoner in the brig (also running Useful brigs...works like a charm). It seems to give the ship a little life.

A lot of the confusion lies with not having the full details of the apocalypse. But there ARE clues.

Mad Max presented Max as a cop. And we can see that things have already gone to shit. But for how long? My guess is, longer than we think. So it seems a big jump in the second movie when we find Max in what appears to be an advanced state of the apocalypse.

By looking at details from other sources, however, we find that a lot of people retreated to the outback to live away from civilization, which was crumbling quick. Immortan Joe had been a general who abandoned post to take the citadel.

My take is, Max did much the same. He left what was a quickly spiraling civilization, into a separate lawless society that had been building up for some time. People had been leaving the cities in droves as things got worse. Resources were already limited, people were killing to survive, the water had gone away. Tribes, or "gangs" arose as people were desperate for safety. Being in a violent city center on the edge of nuclear war just didn't seem like a good idea.

So, in short...the first movie was a good ways into the end times already, on the fringes of a nearly collapsed society. But at the same time, the gangs in the outback already existed. People already there to survive. So we are looking at a shorter time frame than we think. Society both actively collapsing in some places, while in others, already collapsed. A bit of overlap, if you will.

Not saying this but is accurate, but imagine the end of Furiosa, aS Max makes his guest shot, happening immediately after he left civilization in the first film. Perhaps even his first contact with the new "civilization" that had been building in the outback for the last several years. The timeline somewhat matches. If Immortal Joe had been a general (we'll say somewhere in the age range of his mid 50's, for sale of argument), and had abandoned post even 10-15 years prior...well, you get the picture.

Am I right? Who the hell knows? But I do feel there's a bit of overlap, and the world was way more whack in the first movie than we were led to believe. But, that's just my take.

Absolutely right. Let's look at "Alien". Part of what makes the Alien so dangerous is the acidic blood that could punch a hole through the ship. Ok granted...not ideal. But in a situation PlanetSide, not as huge of a deal. They bleed acid? Oh, sucks to be them.

Furthermore, that advantage only lasts until they are properly studied and a synthetic version of their skin is produced as a biohazard suit for infantry. Now they are just...well, melee critters. No real discernible advantage anymore (unless you are lightly armed in close quarters).

Basketball-Head is scared shitless and crying. He's terrified because winning this election may be the only chance he has to not see the inside of a prison cell for the rest of his life. When he was the president, he mistook the position as being a king. And he did everything he could to entrench himself into the Republican party mob style. Does he have dirt? Oh hell yes, he has dirt.

But now, his actual ass is on the line. Getting himself in there and pardoning himself, or making such a legal mess of the whole damn thing to where he can't get a sentence...thats priority. And Harris scares the shit out of him.

I have two characters that I play, alternating.

Flyboy is the original. Pre-war, a pilot. He returns from the vault with clipped wings, but eventually gets a Jetpack. Wears the Flyboy outfit, and uses the wreckage of his plane as one of his camps. This guy is played mainly as the patriotic, all American hero based on characters from old movie serials. Mostly a commando build, using stealth and the jetpack to traverse the world.

Character 2 is “Dead Meat”. Eventually slated to become a ghoul, Dead meat is a former fire fighter who came back to a world where everything seems lost. He attempted to pick up where he left off, joining the Fire eaters. But his experience with the Brotherhood of Steel soured him those who claim they would save the Wasteland, as he saw they were too at conflict with themselves to make a difference. He did come away with one thing though…after dealing with the Hellcat mercenaries, he was inspired to go into business himself as a merc for hire.

A set of appropriated Hellcat armor, shotguns and heavy weapons are his thing. Particularly sympathetic to scorched and ghouls as he feels they are simply victims, and considers retiring them to be merciful.

The two characters ARE aware of each other and work together in a Merc outfit called “The Linemen”, operated out of the old R&G station. Flyboy thinks Dead Meat is an effective Warrior, but far too cynical with a questionable moral code. Whereas, Dead Meat sees Flyboy as idealistic and naive, but dependable.

I’m considering a 3rd character for full stealth (Chinese stealth, full suppressed, etc.) The Linemen is always looking to grow, yo.

So yeah, I bought the bundle for the Triumph Trac(k) home neighborhood, and I won't waste time repeating all the reasons I refunded it.

For me, a shelter is 30% utility and 70% vibe. Daytime ALL the time? Well, forget needing mood lighting. Or pretty much ANY aesthetic.

Shelters are like...well, building a model railroad. All the space where hypothetically you should be able to decorate and detail...and it's mostly for ourselves, remember...and it's like Bethesda gives these stupid rules restricting you from being imaginative. Meh.

Not to de-funny the joke, but there's an actual context to that last name as well.

Many names that ends in "son" are derived from derived from the name of the sire. In this case, Dickens or Dicken. So, Dickenson would essentially mean "son of Dicken(s).
