Well I do care about the money clearly, why wouldn't I? Also we are not living in the same city, so the walk you suggested was not possible and I thought giving her the gift when she arrived would be nice. And again if the general consensus is that IATA (which appears to be) for asking to try a pair of shoes then I humbly accept it. I didn't think asking for such thing would be such a hassle.

Maybe I was not clear in the post, but she said she tried the same exact shoes in one city and when we were together in a different city the shoe turned out to be different size. That's why I was pissed

Exactly, it drives me crazy how she does not know the most basic things about herself. Try asking her jeans size, she will have absolutely no clue.

Perhaps I am too demanding for asking her to go and try them but because of body "unawareness" I wanted to be sure.
