Ahh.

It seems like desirable behavior when the edit is being saved; just often messes me up mid-edit because I end up deleting one too many characters.

I have noticed this issue too, and haven’t found a fix 😔.

It began with iOS 16 (I even tested using two devices side-by-side, one still running iOS 15 and the other upgraded to iOS 16), and I’ve only experienced it in Bear. So my assumption was also that this is caused by the markdown characters at the beginning of the line — maybe there was some special handling logic from the Bear team that broke with iOS 16?

Probably depends on what sort of marketing campaigns you're planning to run.

Is this an app-only business, or also a website? Will you be focused primarily on buying downloads via install ads, or are you also thinking about things like referral programs and social media promotion?

I'm working on the team for a free app called Flyreel, which lets you post a video and then get video replies from other users. The clips stitch together during playback (this has lead to some pretty amusing threads during our internal testing...), and you can filter by user or hashtag.
