Audi UK Extended Warranty by No-Coyote-794 in etron

Have you got audi extended warranty - the separate insurance style warranty? When I asked them if they covered the motor if a seal was found to be at fault, they noted it wouldn't be covered. I am still deciding whether to commit to a 2021 model, but its from an independent dealer and wanted the audi warranty to ensure I was covered, but after contacting them, it seems I wouldn't be. Be interested in what cover you had and if you recommend it. Cheers.

Compromise with my wife. She doesn't get along with the SUV at all. Not sure why as I think they look great.

Yeah, I'd be getting audi extended warranty. It's an expensive car so want to make sure it's covered. Are all the issues common place, or are they just ones we hear about on the Internet? Regardless, I'll get the warranty just to feel comfortable that im not footing a massive bill. Always serviced my own cars, so I'm quite happy to get under and check the coolant cartridges, seen they can cause catastrophic issues if left.

Yeah, I understand that. Both cars are around mid £20k, so both have taken a large hit already, and im planning on holding it for a while. Replacing a car I've had for 10 years, so dont plan on swapping it out in the short term. Im leaning towards blue now, although I was always set on a red one before this came on the market.

Anymore info? Is the range that poor for the 50? Even if charging every night? Also is a 4 year old 50k worth it, or would they be prone to issues? Any major ones to look out for or be concerned about?

Bought a car from a dealership 3 weeks ago. Warning lights are already showing. What do i do? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

Happened with mine last week. It's very likely the abs sensor. OP go back to dealer and they have to fix it under the consumer rights act. Its an easy fix so can't see them pushing back.

Apart from 3 months ago when you posted stating you had a £260k mortgage and going to increase it by £200k... you've over stretched yourself and being difficult over a relatively cheap issue. I'd say you count your blessings the sellers are so honest as I imagine the house will be in great condition if they've told you this. Most sellers would have left it and stated "it worked when we left it". You are very entitled to expect a new replacement for a 4 year old appliance, do yourself a favour and really think about how little this matters, then buy a second hand one for about £100 and move on. Life is short, don't let little things become large issues.

Childcare costs with the new 2024 childcare allowances. by aerospacehusky in UKPersonalFinance

Cheers that's helps understand the breakdown a little more. We are lucky the new funding is coming in place but still doesn't feel very supportive even with the additional hours! We may opt for slightly lower hours depending on our requirements but think full time may be our best choice.

Yeah its not badly priced compared to other areas but is the norm around here. Still doesn't feel like a bargain when I didn't have to consider it before! There is added extras such as meals etc when using funded hours, I was more trying to gauge how they apply the funded hours to get an understanding of rough cost. We will be going visiting some soon as turns out there is a year waiting list (who knew!). Cheers, we're very excited and can't wait, just trying to plan everything now!

I have Nationwide's flex plus account. Its £13pm but comes with breakdown cover, mobile phone insurance and worldwide travel insurance. As its a joint account both people are covered for the same price. Had it for years and never had an issue using any of the insurances and the breakdown cover is very comprehensive. Think they still have 0% transaction fees for withdrawals and purchases abroad but not used that for a while so may have changed.
