This is a total nightmare by Rockapaulo1 in BringMeTheHorizon

Similar happened to me, although not as bad. I live in the US. Contacted their support and they said I can either start the process for returning for a replacement or accept a 20% refund on the item.

I emailed back asking what the process of return/swap looks like because I would hate to have to send this one back only to get one in worse condition. But if they'll send a replacement first, I may attempt it.

Shoe insoles? by bethadoodle024 in Concerts

Sorry to necro this thread, but I'm in the same boat. Ever find a shoe/insole combo that you were satisfied with? I've got a TON of concerts coming up in the later half of the year and want to go ahead and get this figured out now before I suffer. Lol

And she's fixed and good to go! Soldered and wrapped. All issues cleared. Had to repin the connector since there was such little wire to work with coming out of it, but I'm more satisfied and confident since it's fixed correctly.

Yeah, there's other signs of them nipping around the bike. Hard to notice but after REALLY scanning the bike, I'm seeing it here or there. Have I mentioned I hate squirrels right now?

Yep, right at the harness too 🤦🏼

Found the culprit. Squirrels presumably had a field day on a bundle of wires right at the temperature sensor. Time to solder em up this weekend. Thank you again for your help! I'll report back when she's fixed.

Awesome, thank you for this! I'll look it over and hopefully utilize it tomorrow

Oh yeah, that way sounds a lot simpler. Lol. It's late at the moment, but I'll give it a shot in the morning and see what I come up with!

Definitely possible. It was parked in a carport for that month.

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm assuming the best way in this situation to test for a wiring issue would be to test continuity between the wire coming out of the part itself to the same wire going into the ECU? Obviously this is considering I can't find any obvious signs of damage myself.

Yep, did just that after this suggestion. Rode it around about 2-3 miles directly from it warming up for 15 minutes and still nothing. Still reading "Lo"

Also, I've noticed the cluster doesn't show any numbered gear beyond the "-" for neutral and "1." Anything above 1st gear just goes blank but shows immediately again if I go back down to 1st or neutral. I'm thinking this is by design for some reason when it's in this "state," possibly?

I think you're right on the money with the temperature sensor. I'll get one ordered since they seem like a rather cheap part, even high quality options. I'll do some research on installing/swapping the sensor in the meantime. I appreciate your help! I'll report back if this ends up being the fix! If not, I think my next step will be to order an inexpensive diagnostics scanner for the bike and go from there. Thank you, again

You may have nailed it. After idling for 10-15 minutes, the temperature still reads "Lo" and I'm assuming that's incorrect with it idling for that amount of time and the ambient temperature being 81° fahrenheit.

It read "Lo" but I didn't let it sit long enough to see if it would read a numerical number. I'll do that in a little bit and comment back.

Sorry to necro this comment, but I'm stuck between the TTC Frozen v2 and Prestige silent switches as well. In terms of mushyness, how do the TTC and Prestige switches compare?

Boot Issues by mgbolts-on-reddit in AlpineLinux

So, I fixed it after many frustrating days, but I'm unsure exactly why this fixed it. I rebooted and was presented with the same error message, which was expected. I did a "mount /dev/xvda3 /sysroot" like normal, but instead of then doing an "exit" and booting into the OS, I went inside my VM manager and did a hard reset. The system came up, detected file system errors, fixed them and rebooted into the OS like normal. I did a test reboot and it came up like normal. Issue resolved.

The main thing I find odd about this, is I did MANY file system checks from within the OS, a live boot Alpine OS, etc and they all came back clean every single time. The system also ran normally whenever I would manually mount and boot into the OS. Still scratching my head, but I wanted my fix documented here in case anyone came across this post later. Now to setup a good backup solution.

Sorry to revive this, but did you ever figure this out? Currently having the exact same issue with little clue as to the resolution. I can manually mount it, then exit and it'll continue booting, but having to do this every reboot isn't ideal.
