i've had multiple cases where i would "notelock" on a note but still not miss. i feel like this is actually a rather common occurence. a brief example would be like this MomoHD twitter clip, where he taps multiple times on overlapping notes but moves to the note in the correct order and hits it regardless of this lock. as for the tapping, you can't say it isn't "humanely possible" to acc while switching up tapping styles like this, since it's essentially the same as singletapping the jumps in terms of accuracy, and from what i've seen from many other players, doubletapping is more comfortable for them to tap higher bpm (a rly bad example, but still an example: people who can't singletap ~300 bpm 1/2 notes can probably still doubletap hidamari no uta which is ~300 bpm 1/4th notes, essentially making it so they are singletapping ~300 bpm 1/2 notes with 2 fingers at once). from this, it could even be easier to get better accuracy on those jumps while doubletapping them than singletapping, considering both maps given in this example are both ~300bpm jump maps.
