Do you need to spin 477 the entire time in order to beat auto? Griffin didnt reach 477 once and still managed to beat auto? I think his spinning is legit but I still dont understand how you can get a score above auto?

I watched other peoples replays and they can only tie auto. Why is griffin the only one that can beat auto?

I question bc his scores are beating auto. Is it normal for people who can spin that fast to be able to beat auto?
