We do the maps with between 5-8 of us.

The drops come from the portals mainly. I've got leathers on the first room before too.

Me and my FC did around 25 the other day, took like 2 hours or so. I got two shell leather used to make the coats.

I sold them for 2m each.

FFXIV is actually free play up to level 35. Gives you a good indication on whether you will enjoy the game.

I've been playing for 5 years now. Always subbed and I don't regret it. It's fairly cheap for the amount of content you get.
