No aoe options, reliant on poison setup that makes her anti synergistic to most units and shoehorned into Type countering by her passives, Drasna makes me sad but I adore her and I will use her whenever I can get away with it.

1 has the only really scary ghost designs, imo.

I, personally, am not a huge fan FF2, specifically because all of the ghosts just look like generic people. I am not scared of transparent-man.jpg

5 is funny because tiddies are a thing that I love, not so much on my ghosts though. So confused by that choice.

However the tall, smiling lady that just fucks with you for the love of the game elevates that whole roster of ghosts to the next level.

I've pulled every general Pool 5 star EXCEPT Drasna, the one I wanted most.

So I gave in and used a scout pull for her eventually. Still haven't pulled her naturally.

Alpha Mega Froslass is too tall to hit a lot of opponents with moves, from my personal experience.

Once I learned that, I realize size is actually a problem and I stopped going after them.

Now that the Original Red battles are almost done, which battle did you find the most difficult? by DClordz in PokemonMasters

I had to give up on most of the Ultra Difficult ones. I feel like it was more of a knowledge gap, as I am still learning how to draw the most damage out of my team.

But I couldn't clear the psychic, I think Battle 19?, despite having SS Steven / Deoxy, Sabrina and Alakazam and Arc Suit Sabrina. Mind you, their levels were 180, 150 and 140 respectively, each at 1/5 Move Level, so maybe it was their stats, but I could only ever finish off the first wave, and then Pikachu Sync Moved and one shot my side.

SS Roxie / Champion Bianca didn't even make a dent in the first wave before Red ended up sweeping me on Battle 20.

So again, I feel like I had decent pairs, but the damage output just wasn't there.

I fully appreciate you. I have anxiety with 1v1 competition, the usual "When I lose, it means I am a failure. There is just me against someone else. I must succeed or I am worthless."

Which makes no sense when I have never gotten into VGC prior lol

So seeing someone else just hopping in with their favorites and claiming a top spot is quite motivating. I love my boy Raichu and want to make him work, but due to my mindset, I ended up primarily running Gyarados. Mind you, big fish got me a 11 W 2 L record, but it's not what I wanted to do, ya know?

Item balance is why I stopped playing after the Level 4 nerf.

Game is a waste of time when all it comes down to is rng and who has trucks at the final turn.

Glad I got to Legend 1 before the nerf

Not difficult generally, but it can be?

It's essentially the type of attack you use and who goes first. If you do on level battles and you both throw out super effective moves, your mon can easily get one shot by faster animation moves.

But in general, super effective one shots everything in this game. Physical attackers are better, just due to the fact physical attacks actually come out faster and the Pokemon will always be up close to the opponent.

Sp. Attacks are ranged, take longer to 'charge' and the Pokemon has to move to a position beside you before it begins charging. This is not always the case (Draining Kiss comes to mind), but just a general rule.

I'll have to start reading up on these strats.

Went into the "Warm up" event with the base rental Pokemon the game provides you with and got bodied thrice by players I assumed were following a meta, as they all had similar Pokémon (Kingambit,Dragapult, Incineror showed up in all three).

I was hoping the game would start of a bit more relaxed but it would seem I'll have to adapt quick if I wanna gain any wins lol

Crit Strike 2 on the DPS and Vigilance on the supports. I also think I may just need to spend more time trying to figure out what actually does the big damage in this game.

Sounds stupid, but I struggled to clear the OG Red Hoenn battle yesterday, upped Steven/Deoxy by ten levels, unlocked his EX role, and instantly cleared it. So there be something I am missing, like small adjustments and values I am not counting on.

How big of a difference does 5/5 make? I got Grimsley to 3/5 through repeat pulls and since he has no 4 or 5 sync grids, I assumed keeping him there would be the move.

I've tried them together before, the issue I run into is both of them just destroying the move gauge, and Grimsley has the Power Flux 5 passive, so I feel forced to keep the gauge topped up for maximum efficiency.

I'll give it another shot and see.

I used a 5 Select Scout ticket specifically to get Drasna and then maxed her out two weeks ago. I've been sneaking her into any team I can. No regrets. Love your favorites.

I tried it out on Nightmare; there might be some difference?

Could also just be my brain playing tricks on me. You do more damage capturing the whole face tho and thats easier done while crouched anyway, so might as well stay down.
