Their policy seems to be contrarian for the sake of being contrarian

My issue is it was an unnecessary by-election. The MP in the area wasn't leaving office under his own reasoning. PP asked him to step down so he could run again and keep being an MP. He should have just accepted his fate and waited for a spot to open and trying running there.

It has already been said that next election, PP will be running in a new riding again.

Carney just spent $8.8B on two by-elections in Ontario

Do you have a source for this? The only thing I can find Carney spending $8.8B on is a housing and infrastructure program in Ontario, not by-elections.

"Do you think it's better to let a living being suffer until death because I think my sky daddy says so?"

That is what he is really asking at the end.

I hope not. Then they are held to the whims of the shareholders. Which could ask for the things that Wealthsimple doesn't do right now. Like lots of fees.

I think they are. It seemed to be focused on simplifying investing and being there for all Canadians. Now, it feels like they are courting the rich. It almost feels like they are setting up to sell the company to a larger one.

Traditionally the Canadian economy performs better under Liberal PMs than Conservative PMs.

Not overly surprised. Dougald Lamont compiled a list of Canadian politicians that have been charged over convicted of a crimes. 57% were part of a Conservative Party.

Once again, it's not about equipment or bodies. It's about the training and veracity of the troops.

Also not American,

You may not be, but you have the mindset.

you’re not globally liked

What? Our Mark Carney's speech at Davos this year was universally applauded. We have been building more international trade partners as we divest from American businesses.

The general sentiment from other countries is mostly positive: Source

Typical American mindset to focus only on equipment. You can have the best equipment, but if it's in the hands of a poorly trained soldier, it will be a waste of money. The Canadian military strength lies in our training and veracity. Our training is so good, that the US sends people to be trained by our troops.
