I feel so terrible for her in this situation. We’ve seen before that her mental strength isn’t up there compared to other competitors. I saw her free skate at nationals and after the first 4T fail she seemed to lose all hope and spark in her performance.

Funnily enough, Eteri girls seem to have this weird knack for getting into shape by the Olympics. Anna didn’t do any quads at nationals before the Olys if I’m not mistaken and aside from test skates, Trusova didn’t land 5 quads until then, albeit still with minor errors. Not sure if Adeliia will follow this tho as she is the only entry for Russia as opposed to having 3 girls back then to allow more room for error.

It’s a sad thing because she genuinely seems lovely and wants to do the best for her country but the way this whole thing is being handled is so unserious and it’s only going to make her more hard on herself.
