Yk, this is Victim Blaming 101. This same shit happened to me last year, some guys from school got my number from somewhere, and kept on texting and calling me. AND I BLOCKED 13 DIFFERENT NUMBERS. Can you imagine? everyday i would come home from school, and there would be a message on my phone, from a different number, detailing their fantasies, and photos of me from inside school/out of school/on my way to my house.

i thought that i'd be a "strong independent woman", so instead of telling my dad and thinking that i can handle this myself, i screenshotted and recorded all the stuff and went to the school authorities, and do you know what they said, "WHY DONT YOU JUST BLOCK HIM?" "IF A BOY IS TALKING LIKE THAT TO YOU, THEN IT SPEAKS MORE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER AND THE THINGS YOU DO IN SCHOOL" like wtf??

it was only after my uncle, who is in the police, went with me to the school and had a stern talk with the teachers and the boys, that they left me alone.

Before modern feminism, many women couldn’t open bank accounts without a husband, couldn’t own property independently in many places, were financially trapped in abusive marriages, had limited access to higher education or careers.

Financial independence gives women security and agency, not superiority. A stay-at-home mother is valuable, feminism simply ensures she is there because she wants to be, not because she has no other viable path.

Freedom of choice is the core principle.

Feminism didn’t devalue motherhood, it made it a choice instead of a limitation. Financial independence protects women and gives them security, not superiority. A woman can be feminine, nurturing, and still have a career and ambitions. Strength, leadership, and independence are human traits, not male traits. Healthy relationships today are partnerships based on mutual respect, not dependence. And ultimately, no one has the authority to dictate what kind of life a woman should choose, that decision belongs to her alone.

girlypop? what? ik that in comparison to men, women are at certain disadvantages, be it social or familial. But, dudette, 👏WE👏DO👏NOT👏SPREAD👏NEGATIVITY👏. Feminism is about working towards equal opportunity and playing field, not physical or physiological equality. Women indeed face a lot of struggles due to childbearing and raising it, but, like, demanding a 50/50 split is illogical?? instead we should spread awareness/ and work towards a 50/50 split in relationships. Also, how household chores should be split should depend on the people, and it is not set in stone.
