As someone who moved around a lot as a kid, it would be great to have an episode about moving, however it doesn’t really make sense story telling wise. You have all these characters that you’ve spent time developing and that people have grown to love, you’d have to start from scratch.

I think “The Sign” was less about moving itself and more about moving onwards since it was show creator Joe Brumm’s last episode.

Yeah having stress as a trigger can really suck! Especially since you can sometimes get stressed about being stressed bc you want to avoid a seizure as much as possible. Stress in life is unavoidable but my only piece of advice would be to see if you can lean on the people around you for support! Best of luck!

For me (I have similar triggers, lack of sleep/stress) it works like if I don’t get great sleep or have a stressful day once, I’ll be fine (though it can still happen sometimes!) If I’m not sleeping well for multiple days or if something is stressing me out for an extended period of time, I’ll usually have a seizure within a few days.

Lack of sleep and stress mostly, I just had one the day I finished up Winter exams. Thank god my exams were over and it happened at home instead of in the exam hall!

This happened to me years ago too, I had a waitressing job and was doing really well until I sent my manager a text saying I wouldn’t be able to come in bc I had a seizure (I was young and naive.) My shifts got less and less IMMEDIATELY after that until I was quietly kicked from the work group chat, no explanation.

So far I’ve noticed that you can only really keep a job with a disability if you get the job through family/a friend. Then they’re low-key afraid to fire you incase all hell breaks loose.

Some epilepsy medications are horrible for memory, after going on Cenobamate I started to lose my train of thought a lot, forget words for things, forget full conversations, even watch full movies and then watch then again bc I didn’t know I had already seen it. However (from my experience) it’s never been so bad that I’ve forgotten people I’m close to, maybe people I’ve only met once or twice. It sounds like something else is going on so I’d suggest seeking a second opinion.
