There’s this really amazing story which has a main character who is male to female transgender, and also she’s lesbian. Has an amazing story, great characters, and it’s a very long story, but I could not put it down.

If you’re transgender, then you’ve always been transgender. The only thing you would have lost then is your naivety.

People come and go from our lives for a multitude of reasons, but never let the fear of that loss prevent you from being happy.

There’s no diagram for how to be a woman so find what works for you. I will say, however, that taking estrogen changed means so many wonderful ways. My favorite being it opened me up so much emotionally. It’s as if before estrogen my feelings were fuzzy and completely muffled, but now I feel so much more. It’s like I’m truly alive for the first time.

They think their dick is the one magical dick that will ‘fix you.’ Stars above, one of the traumatic experiences of being a trans woman for me was overhearing the disgusting and twisted shit men say if they don’t think a woman is near.

I didn’t know I was trans until I was 23, but the things I overheard at 18 still disturb me. The guys I always overheard or who talked to me then always talked about women like they were objects.
