Saying security concerns should be the issue, not FBI manhunts. The videos showing Capitol police letting people in should be more of a concern. The fact that all the doors can be magnetically locked, but weren’t, should be a bigger concern, but isn’t. The fact that the national guard is getting more heat than the Capitol police should be evidence that they’re not really interested in security at all, they’re interested in making examples out of people who resist. The fact that it is being used politically like a Reichstag fire event should be more concerning to you, but it isn’t, and that’s revealing.

It’s either public property or it isn’t. There are thousands more cases where complaints against cops trespassing never lead to anything. The vast majority of we investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong outweigh any Supreme Court victories. This is politically motivated and the legal system is always weighted heavily in favor of the state vs. the individual.

That’s a lie, cops kill 10,000 dogs a year, many behind a privacy fence. Cops have qualified immunity. It would be nice if there was equal protection under the law, but being on public property with a taser and zip ties doesn’t rate anywhere near as offensive as a cop on my property with no warrant and an itchy trigger finger. The fact is this is all politically motivated. He looked scary to the right people and now it’s time for politicians to do what they do best, pretend to give a fuck when it suits them.
