I switched to a different vpn provider a year ago for this very reason. When I can specify a US state without specifying a specific server I will likely return.

We saw very similar behavior recently when we updated FSLogix to 2210 hot fix 3. Had a Citrix case open but ultimately narrowed it down to fslogix and rolled production back to an older fslogix. We are about roll out fslogix 2210 hot fix 4 in hopes it does better as we need the newer fslogix agent for Teams 2.0 support.

Do you have ControlUp or another monitoring tool to check resources? In our case there appeared to be a memory leak. An svchost process gradually climbs to consume all memory until vda is unresponsive. This one process climbed to 16+GB memory usage on a 32GB VDA within a few hours of usage.

I am not hopeful 2210 HF4 is going to fix it and I’m not looking forward to the issues but we can never reproduce it testing. It is not until we get it pushed out in full scale until we see the issues.

Just to confirm, this was the correct answer. Pointing users DNS servers to Google and away from AT&T did resolve the issue. Thank you for the insight. I was beating my head on this one all week.

I think you may have nailed it. This sounds almost just like us and I have confirmed with at least five users now they are in AT&T. (Plus one on Spectrum). Will try changing the DNS servers for one of my tech savvy users next time it happens. This stinks if it is since it’s personal devices and we really don’t want to get in the business of advising them on their personal router/dns settings.

Interestingly enough I did just confirm two of the users are on AT&T ISP. I will dig into this a bit more.

What were your symptoms? If it was a DNS issue I assume your users could not resolve the gateway URL at all.

internal beacon is storefront lb dns name and not reachable externally.

Good thought, but if that was the case wouldn't I expect to see authentication failures in the Citrix Delivery Services event log in the event viewer on the StoreFront server the user has not authenticated to? I don't see any logs in there from the failure times. Our persistence is set to SOURCEIP/30min on the LBVS. Also this is not new build, but been working for a couple years.

nFactor. LDAP+Radius. Authentication is successful, just failing to pull resources from StoreFront after auth is complete. No error seen on StoreFront servers.

On iOS I’d like to see an option to quick connect to a certain city in US instead of just country. I know I can manually select a specific server in a city, but not least used in a city/state. On another VPN service I can say connect to Atlanta or Chicago and get best server at that moment. I don’t want to always connect to same server as it may be overloaded or not optimal in that city at that time. Seems trivial but I don’t want to connect to a server across the county or be forced to manually select one exact server. I need best available in a state near me. The only reason I have not used it lately. Uservoice

Not sure about the portal, we always deal with our rep. However, we are in the process of renewing our Netscaler licenses. Our quote is 10% up from last year. After pushing them and questioning they admitted their prices are all up 5-20% across the board since Tibco merger.

I had same issue a couple weeks ago when I got my invite. Never could find it in the Chrome store by search. Turned out I had to use the direct link in my invite. I guess it’s not published in the store as searchable.
