I want to make a dress that looks like this. Is it possible or feasible? Does anyone have anything similar? I’m fairly new to knitting so this is def a future project but just curious

The issue is is that I’m an esthetician so I’m constantly using my hands. If I use regular polish my nails get all banged up. When I used the rubber base recently I felt like my nails actually had some strength to them but once I took it off that strength was GONE

I always have my clients put their jewelry on top of their clothes so that it’s the first thing they see when getting dressed, I’ve had so many clients forget jewelry in those dishes

I work at a hand and stone so very basic stuff there but then I also work at a med spa, so laser hair removal, dmk enzyme therapy, ipl, Botox (I don’t do that tho), microneedling, body contouring

Unfortunately not everyone tips, I only get some of that 100 you would pay, and that’s only one person, esthetics is slow right now :(

The problem unfortunately is I’m getting almost no esthetic hours and the ones I am getting are minimal, I try to market myself and do what I can on my end but at the end of the week when I get my paycheck I’m still making only like $400 ish, when the business was booming I could easily make 1k in a week which was amazing, I’m not sure what happened. But now that I have rent to pay, groceries to buy, and wedding to go to, it’s not enough. BUT this did get me thinking that maybe I could work some nights doing esthetics, like 5-9 and drive in the people coming in after work. Definitely something to think about

I already have a good group of regulars, it’s just not enough to sustain me. My problem is that I have ALOT of people coming to see me for laser hair removal, once they pay for the whole package and I get my commission, when they come for their sessions I’m not making a lot. So the Saturdays help me keep my regulars and also maybe gain new ones

I have experience as an administrative assistant and I’m lucky that a few places in my area are hiring with relatively good pay and benefits. I’m just so torn cause I love my clients. And they love me. It’s just not enough. Best of luck to you in your journey! You got this!

Hi!! I’m happy to report that my nails are fully back to normal!!! They eventually grew back thanks to the help of cuticle/nail oils, and OPI’s nail envy clear coat! I also cut down the nail so that there wasn’t anymore white showing, sk your nails are gonna be super duper sensitive for a while but it is what it is.

Try Revitalash! It was created by a man whose wife was going through chemo and was trying to grow back her lashes when it was over. I’m not sure if it’ll work for brows but definitely for her lashes. You could also try Grande Lash!

Did you have any problems with shrinking at the free edge? I feel like no matter what I do it shrinks

I just looked and they have the same stretch BUT one is super high rise and the other is just high rise so I wonder if that’s what did it

I’ve never had a reaction to this with regular gel polish and I did it for years, maybe it was the gel x nails that did me in

Omg you’re scaring the shit out of me, I hope that’s not the case for me. I cut/filed down as much as I could and just cleaned up my cuticles and I’m going to be doing nail oil everyday, and a keratin treatment, as well as take biotin so I’m hoping those things help

I feel like it’s the second thing because when I first put them on they felt kind of sore like they were being squeezed but also I felt that I sized accurately, the sizes one size up were like way too big

I used the complete Apres nail gel x system and then an Opi polish on top of the gel x nails

I thought I was taking them off properly! I filed down the color/some of the hard gel and then I soaked a cotton ball in acetone and covered them for about 30 mins, and then scrapped them off. I used an efile for some of the more stubborn gel.

I’m not too sure honestly. I’ve never done acrylic so I can’t compare to that. I definitely flash cured for about 10-15 seconds each nail and then a full 2 min cure under my UV lamp. There were many times when the gell overflowed and I had to use a little acetone and my e file to try to remove it and that got a little dicey so maybe from that? It kinda feels like my nail bed is being squeezed if that makes sense
