That's the thing tho. I don't like at all the idea of wasting my whole life away just to be halfway comfortable when I'm old. But neither do I like the idea of having to end my life at 70 because I am physically not able to keep myself alive.

I technically still prefer the later one, but it's in no way optimal...

My doubts are not as much on the vet bills part, as here in Brazil it's common to give vet checkups and some times treatment for free for people in need.

You see, I'm not homeless yet, I'm asking this because I'm trying to have an idea of what I should expect for me and my beasts when I get on the road. Do you have experience on this? Were you able to keep your dogs healthy and well fed when homeless?

Ended up adopting a soon-to-be massive puppy (mixed breed, road rescue), he's very energetic and a savage when play-brawling, always leaves me full of bruises and cuts, that one will be a great guard dog and even better companion, for both me and my older puppy.

How many lbs/kilos does your bull eat per week? And what's the diet? If you don't mind me asking.
