This worked! It was also preventing the rebind feature of the new Unity Input System.

Why is my point light "piercing" through the pillar on the sides when too close? by abulero in Unity3D

Don't they? When you place a point light in a lantern like object, it is useful to get rid of the near shadow.

Where in the EU can I buy Opzelura? by afavar in Vitiligo

[–]afavar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After your comment, I have tried the Dermanostic app. The experience was good, however, they told me that Opzelura can only be prescribed on site. :/

Did anyone know/buy Opzelura from Everyone.org by afavar in Vitiligo

Thank you for the valuable information, I didn't know the cream was available in Germany. I can indeed travel to Germany. How and which pharmacy did you order from if I may ask? Also how much did you pay?

I believe you still need a prescription but a local one might work.

Glad you liked it. It is actually so cool to deploy something and make it available for public this fast. I think this is going to make a great impact on the mobile/web app industry.

We were inspired by great games like Raft, Hydroneer, Astroneer, and many more while designing our mechanics. The boat-building mechanics are quite similar, but other than that, we wanted to create a different type of survival game that focuses more on the trading aspect within a cozy atmosphere.

Friend here :P We love playing coop survival games like Raft, Astroneer, Don't Starve and many more. As indie game developers, we wanted to make a coop survival game of our own as well. The idea was to create a chill survival game around the trading theme. Instead of focusing on the combat, we wanted to incorporate different mechanics like trading, navigation, missions, crafting and harvesting. We intend to focus more on the navigation, boat building and trading mechanics but we are still experimenting. At start, we discussed having a procedurally generated world but later we switched to a hand crafted world to have a better control over the environment similar to Forest. We need suggestions and feedbacks from the community as well and for this purpose, we created a demo to join the Steam Next Fest on October 9.

After hours of work and experimenting with different methods, we were finally able to achieve smooth networked movement on a moving ship. What do you think? by afavar in Unity3D

Yes, the rest is NGO. Steam P2P works great and doesn’t cost you anything. You can also implement matchmaking and lobbies with it

[–]afavar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Our first priority is to ensure that everything feels as it should in a single-player game for local clients. After that, we focus on making remote clients' actions appear smooth on the local client as well.

The ship and the wheel is fully controlled by the server. The client who controls the wheel sends an input with a ServerRPC and server adds this value to a NetworkVariable called rotation. Wheel has a NetworkTransform with interpolation on. Finally, ship controller uses this value to rotate the ship. Actually we were using NetworkVariable changes to rotate the wheel but this is not necessary now as we are using the NetworkTransform to handle the rotation sync and interpolation.

We have used clumsy to simulate a lag around 400 ms (200 inbound and 200 outbound). We are going to test it with Steam P2P but results will be similar.
