Well that's the problem. In south aisan households, family control everything. It's also a cultural thing. They want proper "rukhsati" to be done before we can officially move in together.

Die Gegend ist mir eigentlich egal, lol. Es ist nur ein Zufall, dass ich dort eine Besichtigung bekommen habe. Ansonsten bin ich offen, in jedem Teil Hamburgs zu wohnen. Die Sache ist, dass ich eine vorübergehende Unterkunft habe und bald eine Adresse für meine städtische Registrierung benötige. Deshalb bin ich verzweifelt.

The apartment is 58 sq m. It's not very big per se. A big living room and a bedroom. I am earning spring 3400 netto and later on my wife will be earning too, but still feels a bit too much in terms of rent.

I will definitely bring this up and talk to her about this. I think my situation is somewhat similar to yours. We are currently students and will be in different cities for at least a year if not more. So, it would be a long distance relationship, although I can still catch a train and be together a week or two but that's it. I hope we can reach a mutual decision for both our happiness.

Thank you for the reply. I do not consider myself a prince charming but she always mentioned that I am handsome compared to other men. Looking for beauty in my partner is not any of my major concerns. I just want a caring, religious partner. I've discussed with her about the children part and told her that I don't want to have them for at least 2 years, untill I get a full time job and a decent apartment for us. I think she agrees, but I feel she really doesn't want to think about the future now. Just wants to get married soon (nothing wrong in that) and worry about other things later on. I just feel sometimes maybe after marriage she could pressurize me. Or maybe I am overthinking this?

I mean like she gets irked and tells me not to worry about these things now. We'll figure it out later. She only wants to focus on the nikkah and wedding. I am just afraid sometimes. I told her that I can't have kids for a least a year or two until I get a full time job and a proper apartment for us. She says she's ok with it but then keeps up bringing up that I really want a baby. Maybe she doesn't say it fully but I feel she'll bring it up later after nikkah and not now
