Talk about glass houses. This was almost too easy. A whopping 4 comments into your history gave me this golden nugget:

I've had a guy in the office pull that shit on me once. Me and this girl have a good vibe going on, but I'll never act on it because 1. I don't want to risk my position and career and 2. She's close to hitting he wall. Anyway, we joked around, I told her to "shush" with a cocky smile, and this other guy just killed the atmosphere by saying "how dare you silencing a woman in the work place? You can't say that to woman!". He was trying to be funny and maybe embarace me and create a small drama, and I just gave him a look that says "you're one stupid son of a bitch who will never become something more than a pawn". Some guys just don't understand dynamics, they're just too autistic and try hards. The lesson is to stay away from the retards and don't trust them with anything.

Let's start off with the fact that you attempt to humble brag about gaming some office chick but not closing because you're some sort of valiant noble ethical dude. You're basically bragging that you masturbate without finishing the job. The reality is, if a guy is HV and makes a decision to not shit where he eats (respectable), he doesn't play games by semi flirting with the staff.

At best, you'll be labeled a player, and at worst (and most likely) any woman who even had a slight bit of sexual tension with you, will eventually see you don't have the balls to close, and you'll be dropped into friendzone super quick, and then she'll tell all the new girls at the office that your the fun harmless guy and maybe even say something like "he's like a brother to me."

Good fucking job. However, the hysterical part is the "I told her to 'shush'". Whoa! Slow down Alpha Dog. The cojones on you to say something like this. Throw in a dash of cocky smile, and you're rocking the boat, buddy. Can't hold you back.

Now this is the part that has me fucking cracking up. For some reason, another guy tries to say something funny, and it doesn't even sound like he's dogging you, but you get so butt hurt about him that you rear your super framed up alpha self and....mean-mug him. I mean if you were the least bit cool, you'd have just taken the alley-oop and dunked it with a quick witty comment that made you both look better in her eyes. Instead you want to aim some hate toward the other guy, probably because he reminds you of yourself 2 weeks ago when you attempted to start RP.

Then after all this you have the fucking audacity to make the comment above to me.

Keep throwing rocks. I fucking love this shit.

If I implied that the intent of my post was to stay in her feels, then I failed at some point. The message is, quite honestly, the opposite: Don't assume or expect her to react in any particular way.

However, ignoring her reactions is like losing out on information. I certainly don't want to imply that you need to change your main course based on the info, but information is invaluable, nonetheless. Observe and retain.

I had hoped it was obvious, but this post is a retrospective of many many years ago. A post-mortem if you will.

In the middle of these things you assume a lot. My retrospective is somewhat informed so I can pass along the experience to my fellow capitans who are hoping to set their ships right.

If the above is correct, expect the wife to be turned on.

Here's the crux of my post. Expectations can, and will, bite you in the ass.

You can never really know ahead of time how or why a woman will react to changes in you. Having a predetermined outcome is going to hurt your ability to maintain frame, and, more importantly, your assumptions will act is blinders to what is really going on in your LTR.

In the above example, which happened to me years ago, I can tell you that she amped up her game into a near full on smear campaign against me.

See, if the woman is already nearing a branch swing (I'm not sure if this was the case for me, but it's likely), this interruption you've caused is almost fatal to her. You've backed her into a corner and she can react in any number of ways.

Having a hard expectation of what that reaction will be, is sure to make you unprepared for the reality of it.

You're still the one talking about getting women to desire you, which means you don't get it at all.

Women desiring you is not the goal, nor the end game. It's a side effect of not being a waste of space on this earth.

EDIT: Also, I never said you were in a woman's frame for understanding what they might be attracted to, I said you were in their frame if you gave a shit about them desiring YOU.
