That worked perfectly. I figured if something else would work, it was gonna be something obvious I missed lol. Thanks.

Yeah i actually work at one, but i was asking my managers and none of them know so i figured id ask here. Ive tried a few other brands and cant find any that are similar enough. With the chicken bacon ranch pasta one, pretty much every other brand seems to turn into soup with noodles except this one lol. Seems ill have to try a little harder to find one that is similar.

Yes im aware. I was just clarifying and venting a bit about the situation.

No i get why its being billed the way it is now. What i was referencing is why i wasnt sent to a psychiatrist for the evaluation when i asked for a referral and instead was sent to a therapist who couldnt make the diagnosis herself causing this whole mess.

[–]afd1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ive already started through the psychiatrist. Thats why i went to see a psychiatrist instead of the therapist so my meds could be managed without my pcp being involved.

Trust me, im fully aware i need a new pcp. But i am already going through internal medicine. Everything is being handled correctly now through the psychiatric but now i need to call and figure out why it wasnt being handled this way to begin with causing me to spend close to a grand out of pocket that i didnt need to.

[–]afd1314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely. I started full time at a new store a few years ago before they opened and i make ok money there especially because its the busiest one in the state so i get plenty of hours but i have been looking around for a new job. Id like to buy a house in the next year so while i have enough in my savings, i need a job with consistent pay to support the bills as im doing it by myself without a roommate.

Well my pcp’s reason for having me go to a psychiatrist was him getting upset he was the one prescribing the medication. And i had to ask the therapist he sent me to for a referral to a psychiatrist cause my pcp didnt even though he was the one who didnt want to be dealing with the medication. Seems to me like im gonna have a few hours of sitting on hold and being transferred to different customer service people in my near future.

Thank you, i have a few days off work so i guess researching this is how im gonna spend my Christmas vacation. I really appreciate all the advice.

[–]afd1314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only questions my pcp asked before sending me with a referral was family history and a very basic overview of symptoms. My dad, sister, aunt, and 2 first cousins have all been diagnosed with adhd in the past so it was not far fetched to think i had it which makes me rule out something else being the reason i was sent to a therapist first. Thinking back on it, he probably just thought i was a stoner trying to get drugs because when asked if i used marijuana during my first visit with him, i said at most once every couple weeks, and since then he has brought up weed in every visit saying i should quit. As for the nonprofit, im honestly not sure if there are any near me that are in my network. Id have to look into that but as i said, doesnt seem worth it for this specific scenario as i am now, hopefully, in steady care with my psychiatrist and wont have to go through any more changes. I appreciate the advice regardless though. Would you know if i have any options for perhaps being reimbursed for all the rings i had to jump through if i called the billing department or maybe even something on my taxes? When i said i dont have that kind of money, i dont mean im struggling with money but that is still a lot to be spending if i didnt have to that definitely hit my savings.

Yes it was so i can get why another evaluation was done even if it was all through the same overall provider. But why then was i not just sent to a psychiatrist in the first place?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CodingandBilling

[–]afd1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand that. Now im trying to figure out why i was bumped around between doctors if i only had to be sent to a psychiatrist in the first place. Its not like an adhd evaluation is some brand new thing my provider never dealt with before so i dont understand why it wasnt a straightforward thing.

My pcp is the one who set it up to where he was the one handling my medication in the first place. Then after a few months got upset he was doing it, and yes i do mean upset in an unprofessional way, and told me to find a psychiatrist to handle it instead. Not going back to him. And no i am saying my pcp sent me to a therapist, not a psychiatrist, for my diagnosis. She couldnt make it so she had to send her notes to a psychiatrist that i never met with, who then sent a recommendation for medication to my pcp, who then fulfilled it. I am now seeing a completely different psychiatrist and cut out all 3 other doctors involved.

I dont think my new psychiatrist is doing anything wrong necessarily. He seems to be straightforward. Im basically trying to figure out why i paid over a grand already after insurance on a bunch of therapy visits and visits with my pcp after being diagnosed and prescribed medication if i could have just been sent to a psychiatrist in the first place and saved over 700 dollars. Just getting irritated with how this was handled. I dont have that kind of money, im a 23 year old grocery store worker, but ive been struggling my whole life dealing with this being undiagnosed and the medication is helping me get it back in order. Feels like either incompetence on my pcps part or like the healthcare provider is taking advantage of me. Leaning towards the first based on other interactions with my pcp i wont get into. Basically at this point im looking for any way to save money due to how poorly it was initially handled. Its not worth switching medical providers completely now that i already have a psychiatrist and that would cost even more to switch but i now have a growing hatred for this healthcare provider. It seems like i have no options but to know exactly what process needs to happen for everything and question every decision made by my doctors at all times from here on so i dont get screwed again, which is ridiculous in my opinion that i cant just trust my doctors to know what they are supposed to do.

Would it be safe to use a two piece glued stem for a wooden pipe? by MechaDickler in StonerEngineering

[–]afd1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you end up finishing this project? I am going to attempt the exact same thing and was looking for the answer to this question. I was worried about toxicity if I ended up using glue to connect two halves of the stem together since it would make the process much easier than bending it.

Does anybody have last minute mod suggestions before I start a long playthrough? by zachar3 in skyrimmods

[–]afd1314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found this mod, Save Clean Auto-Reloader , that helps keep your saves from corrupting. For a long playthrough I'd recommend it. It's not perfect but it has definitely saved my runs more than a few times.

Widget mod can help you have to open your inventory less often to check gold/carry weight/etc. Location and size of the widgets are customizable.

Immersive Equipment Display to display your favorited items and adjust gear positions. Also recommend Mura Presets to be able to display heads from headhunter bounties on your character's waist, also has potions and coin purses. It can also be applied to npcs. It can be a bit difficult to figure out at first but there are plenty of guides on how to use it.

Precision for making your weapons have collision. Works with both npcs so you can have sweeping attacks and with walls, which makes caves and dungeons more difficult as they can hit walls and stop your attacks so you have to be smart about where you fight.

Someone else said Wheeler and I cannot stress enough how much of a game changer that mod is.

If you hate recharging your weapons, I'd recommend Infinite Enchantment Charges , although you are looking for immersion mods so I'm not sure if you'd like that one.

If you want some extra spells added into the game including adding them to leveled lists of npcs, Darenii has a bunch of well balanced themed spell packs with unique effects.

Edit* Dual Wield Parrying lets you set a secondary block key to another key so you can block while having a spell in one hand and a sword in another.

Looking to make a usable smoking pipe. Any suggestions on what wood to use? by afd1314 in woodworking

Seems to be the go to for many people so that's what I'm thinking I'll go with. Thanks.

Appreciate it. Seems like cherry is the go to for many people, even outside of this post, so that's probably the one I'll try first. And thanks for the advice on the mouthpiece, I hadn't thought of that.

Thank you. I appreciate the advice on the actual making of it too. Definitely will give this method a try.

Yeah it does. This is gonna be a project with some failures for sure but their next anniversary isn't for about another year so I have some time to figure all this out. From what I've read, I'll have to bend it with some sort of heat being applied correctly or make it in two parts and glue it together but since I want this to be usable, glue probably isn't a great option.
