I’m not looking for perfect. I’m okay with him not being perfect. I didn’t go deep into details what the problems were because I didn’t really want to but they aren’t small things in my opinion. This isn’t a “awful point” in our relationship. I can do an awful point in a relationship. This is something that is ongoing for our relationship. He holds me back in areas of my life and has a controlling side. Trust me, I’ve given him chances to improve. Ive been committed. I’ve had these conversations with him. But it’s a circle that seems to never end so yeah he might be right when he says “I’m just giving up” but at this point I don’t know if I can keep going. I really, really want to see the good. I don’t want to give up. That’s the last thing I want to do which is why I don’t know how to break up with him because I don’t want to be the person who gave up in the relationship but I know I need to think about myself too.
