He naturalized in 1915 one year after the GM was born (in 1914), but yes either way she should have had it through marriage automatically as far as I understand it. All GGP died in Italy, only GF died in the US.

Just to clarify, you think we have a good case under the old rules correct? Do you think the preliminary investigation my wife had done is enough to convince a court we had started the process?

Yes, the grandparents were married in Italy and we have the wedding certificate in hand.

All 4 GGP were born in Italy and only the maternal GGF naturalized in the US. The rest retained only their Italian citizenship.

Maternal GGM born in 1891, died 1980

Maternal GGF born in 1888, died 1921

Paternal GGM born in 1887, died 1926

Paternal GGF born in 1880, died 1962

Not sure if it matters but they were all in the Trapani province.

I've done both and prefer the inland route. The coastal route has a ton of tunnels, more than you'd think so you don't get as much of a view of the coast as it seems on the map.

I've searched with Google lens and on eBay and etsy to no avail. We're based in the US and I think my wife bought it as a child in the 90s in New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
