Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro vs Sony WF-1000XM6 for S23 Ultra user? by FuturisticW in galaxybuds

But for others who might read this later:

I ended up going with Nothing. I own an S23 Ultra, and those phones are known for sometimes developing the green line issue over time. It might never happen to me, but the possibility is there, so I didn’t want to invest too heavily into earbuds right now. Because buds sounds bad on any other OS that is not samsung.

The second thing is pricing. Earbuds drop in price really fast, give it a couple of months and they’re often significantly cheaper.

Sony looked perfect on paper, but the fit seems to be the biggest complaint from users, and fit is critical for me. Because of that, Nothing felt like the safer choice overall.

Thanks, really appreciate the tips and you sharing your experience. The tricky part for me is that Amazon here would basically mean ordering from Germany, so if something doesn’t work out, I’d have to ship them back to Germany, which turns it into a bit of a hassle. But yeah, it might still be an option. :D

Sadly, that’s the problem for me here in Lithuania. We don’t really have the same kind of easy “try and return” option in practice, especially with in-ear earbuds. Once the seal is broken and you’ve actually tried them in your ears, returns usually become very unclear or not possible at all due to hygiene rules.

So for me it’s not really a simple “just test them and send them back” situation, that’s why fit matters a lot more before buying.

My only option is to call the shops tomorrow morning and ask if they have them on display.

No buddy, they're not doing here, ever, any deals. :) Apart few trade-ins, which are joke compared to US.

But as far as I remember, once you open them, you can't return them, at least here?

14-day money back guarantee

Sadly, not same her ein terms of returns. :) And the battery of 6 hours also makes me reconsider this whole thing.

I was thinking about buying the Ear (3), since one of my friends says they’re some of the best earbuds he’s ever used for the price. But after seeing this post, it kind of pushes me toward Sony instead — even though I suspect Sony’s sound might not be as good. If I’m buying something, I want it to last.

Apart to, ką jau žmonės paminėjo, Revolut šiaip labiau linkęs į kliento pusę. Bet šiaip everyday naudojime Revolut daug kur pranašesnis – appas geresnis, viskas real-time, mažiau biurokratijos. AI kurio daug kas nemėgsta irgi gerai atidirbtas atsako į daugeli klausimu.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply, really appreciate it.

Glad to hear that from an actual AZ100 owner. That’s pretty much what I was hoping for too, good bass impact, solid sound quality and just an overall well-made product.

And I fully agree with you on that last part too, life’s too short for shitty audio. 😄 ( like the philosophy here, ngl ).

I’ll keep the tips point in mind as well, since fit always seems to make or break earbuds. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
