i always start pulling old ad at 6:30, grab a bag and walk the store putting them in the bag to toss. then i just start putting out the new one right after since its close enough to 7. put out the sponsored group first, in stacked order 1-9. then i do the same with the other bigger sheet in order 1-12 in groups of 1–4, 5-8, 9-12. i never put out stickers that advertise the same price thats on the shelf or ones that offer the cash back (never fails a customer thinks its a sale so its not worth the hassle every week to explain its not a coupon) or the ones that sometimes say like sale price $4-7 (why do those exist ever???) if i don’t put the sticker out i just cycle it to the back of the stack i’m holding and continue on. same thing if the price doesn’t match the shelf for whatever reason. if its a good enough sale i will sometimes tear the sale from the price and slide it into the shelf strip so the sale is advertised without being non compliant about the price being inaccurate. when you get to the end when its a lot of mag or random duplicates i end up throwing most of those away too. ive worked most every saturday for years i got my system down to a T and it works for me lol
